hung up when we answered

Hung up when we answered

Seem to only be calling Law Firms. No one answered just a recording that said good bye after a few minutes.

They called. I picked up.  I heard "Good bye" 3 seconds later from a robovoice and then heard a loud screeching sound (similar to feedback from microphone).  Not pleasant.

Caller asked to speak to the owner, told him that he was not in and then stated he would call him back and hung up.

The caller asked for me by name. As soon as I said yes, they hung up.

Received a call asking for Jurasek Brothers and when I replied yes they hung up

Called and asked for attorney by name.  when I told her that she was busy, she rudely hung up on me.

I work for a law firm.  The male caller asked for an attorney by his first name. I indicated that the attorney was at lunch, and the called hung up.  I dialed *69 to get the caller's telephone number.

I answered the phone w/the name of our law firm. A woman said can you please tell the attorney (she used his name) Marilee is on the line. I told her he was in court. I asked for a message and she said no message, she would call later. She acted like she was his best friend. I've worked for him for 26 years and I know he doesn't know anyone by that name. I googled the number and read the other posts. I knew it was some kind of telemarketer or scam.

Same thing just happened to me.  He asked for my boss like he was his best friend.
