called my house at 7:30 am (woke me up) and said it was about my Walmart gift card; which I do not have since I am anti Walmart.  If you reverse dial you only get static.

I got a call from my girlfriend in Toronto, Canada and the caller ID gave this number.  I'm in Oregon, which is (503)

If you receive calls from this number, and the caller is attempting to obtain account information of any kind (bank / credit card numbers, subscription accounts), or asks you to cash a check and wire proceeds to someone, or anything else suspicious, or even if you just find these to be nuisance calls, you can file complaints with the Federal Communications Commission and the Federal Trade Commission online, by phone, E-mail, fax, or postal mail.  The FCC form takes about 2-3 minutes to fill out.  The FTC form is a little more involved, but should take no more than 10 minutes.

called twice and hung up.  redial gets nothing

BEWARE!  This "company" calls persistently at all hours of the day.  They make up a story that your computer is infected and spewing virus forth across the world.  They say they are working for (pick one - Dell, Microsoft, Google, etc) to clean your machine of the virus.  What they really want is remote access to your computer to change the admin password so they can hold you hostage until you pay for a "service" to keep your computer clean.  BEWARE!  Get on the DONOTCALL registry, report them to the FTC and FCC.  BEWARE!

This number called me saying they were technical help from Windows Security.  They told me that they were calling because I had a trojan horse virus on my computer and they were going to help get rid of it.  I was very skeptical and when questioned "Brian" seemed like he did not know what or how to answer.  When I asked for a call back number he provided 315-370-1148.  Beware  this is a probable scam.  According to Microsoft they do not do cold calls.

I received a call from this man with Indian accent, just like Shawn above.  Scam Scam Scam

If only they could use their power for good and not evil.  A perfectly good waste of oxygen.

Investigating this strange call. Looks like a local # but caller sounded Indian and the connection wasn't great. He was trying to get me to log on to my computer to fix a Windows problem that was reported. He made it sound like they tried to contact me before but I didn't respond. Told him I didn't have time to do it right now.

These people called my mom and asked for her had personal information about a ex-brother in law and made my mom think their was a possible death in the family.  I called their family all was well this number is related to qwest & trans com enhanced I did research on it.  If you attempt to call it back it rings busy or says it is a international over seas number I called my phone carrier & told them..  How their getting my personal info is beyond me

it might be interesting to know another scammm........i supposedly just won 5 million and a new mercedes....i even got to choose the  color.....all i have to do is go to the post office and send a check.....NOT likely
