Received a call from this number, not sure who, but I suspect a recorded message about the FBI reports of burglaries in my neighborhood. Called the number back, and got a message that says the number is not in service but comes from Portland, Gresham, Beaverton. I am getting fed up with these harassing calls.

503-355-5255: ID says Rockaway Beach.  Repeated calls every few minutes, no message left.  How can we get this to stop?

Several calls. Samenumber.

Same issue w this number!! Caller id also says rockaway beach. Anyone know who or what this is calling me?!?

9-16-2014 Just called & hung up when answering machine came on, caller id says OREGON CALL 503-355-5255

Beware this is a total scam do not give them the time of day.  They state that they are GE alarms and that GE owns monitronix this is a scam GE is not related to these scammers
They are using many numbers 503-355-5255,  949-891-5427 and 949-891-2465

Recently got the call from 313-355-5255, they were also calling about GE home systems, I enjoy wasting their time, so when they said they'd call me back. I said fine. The person who called me back was from 949-891-2465, and seemed upset that I questioned the authenticity of their offer, since they had not called back from the same number as earlier. The person in CA made sure to assure me that they (GE) "had 32 offices around the country" and that he "was a manager" and also that "GE is a BIG company that you can trust". He finally pretended to  check my number against the Do Not Call list and said my number wasn't in there, and that if I wasn't really interested in getting the system, than our business was complete and to have a nice day.
