We receive calls many times/day from "Energy Discount," and this was the number they used today.  When I answer, the recording says they can "save us money on our Con Ed bill" and then read what is presumably the recent statement number to make the scam seem real. This should be reported

Unknown caller but calls frequently & no message

I've received this call twice. Both times a recording says it's about my home loan, and gives me a bogus account number. If you press the number to speak to someone, it gives you a recording asking you to leave your name and number. BOGUS!

Got a call from this number but no one would say anything when I said hello. Could it be a telamarketer?

Did not answer. They left no message. Typical SPAM call.

I get a call 4 or 5 times a day

Same thing as everyone else but my number on the caller ID was 503-457-1160.

My caller ID says Make A Difference..They called all night Friday night and Saturday night and during the day every day since..the phone company can't help unless I purchase a phone blocking plan from them..My phone bill is asready big enoug!! thank you!..IThis reminds me of an old scam where someone calls and hi-jacks your phone line to make long distance calls! I hope not ..How long do we have to put up with this??

im sick and tired of this crap.we have been getting calls day and night for two weeks.were loosing sleep they are waking up my one year old daughter at one in the morning .id like to give these people a piece of my mind if i find them.were about to get an attourney if that will even help. if anyone has any helpful hints or recources please help before i get ahold of these people

We bought the phone blocking package because of this it does not help. Do not waste your money

We keep getting calls from this phone number, sometimes SEVERAL times a day GRRRRR!  When we answer, NO ONE IS THERE!!!  If we don't answer, there NO MESSAGE LEFT!   WE try to call back this number, to get off their calling list, but, IT IS ALWAYS BUSY!!   Caller ID only shows the phone number - nothing else.

In my previous message, meant to say the number that shows up on our caller ID is:  503-457-1160.   When I Googled that number, this thread came up with that number at the top.

I am as well getting calls from this number, 503-457-1160, on a daily basis.  Again, no message, and when I try to call back, I either get a busy signal, immediately cut off, or music playing with a recorded message that tells me to continue to hold that my call is very important.  After about 5 minutes of this, the same recorded voice says "Goodbye" then click, I'm disconnected.  I have also been woken up numerous times and am getting pretty pissed off.  According to what I've found on line, this is a mobile number through Verizon Wireless.  There has got to be something we can do to stop this harrassement and I'm going to continue looking until I find some way to stop it!!!!

I forgot to mention that my caller ID reads "Energy Service"
