I received a call form this number 503-457-1002. I had trouble understanding the person calling me, but they said they had received information from "thier web site" that I requested information about going back to school. The caller said I could "get national assistance" if I went back to school in the "next three months." When I ask how this would work the caller hung up. Sounded like a scam to me.

When I picked up an automated message said 'You are currently the only person in this conference' and then the call was ended.

I received a "missed" call from 503-457-1002; they left no voicemail.

Answered, no one spoke for about 5 seconds, heard a button pushed, then an automated voice said, "goodbye". weird.

I received a call from this number too. If I don't know the number I don't answer. No voicemail.

Obvious spam. Starting today, I have received 3 text messages and a call from this number. I suspect either virgin mobile or facebook let my number out.

I take that back. I received the texts and the call almost immediately after updating to my current phone number and placing an order on amazon.com

I started getting calls after I liked something on FB yesterday!!!! It was for a free Jersey and then texts started and now spam calls. Pretty sure there is a connection...

These people keep calling here. They leave a message but it is hard to understand. They called us by our first name and we never gave our name to them?????? We said to them that we are not interested but they keep calling back.

yea I just got about 4 phone calls from this number

going on about back to school , they knew my full name aswell which is very creepy
and kept saying I went to their site and asking which programs I was interested in
very hard to understand person

Called it back, automated message said "if you would like to be removed from further promotion phone calls, please press 1."  I did, lets see...

This person called from "The education centre."  I asked if this was a government agency.  No.  They got the year I graduated from me before I wised up.  I didn't give them my birthdate.  Kept going on about how our information would be confidential.  I told them that NO ONE who is just giving out information takes birthdates.  Nasty.  I feel bad just giving the year I graduated away.  However, I was taking a nap when they called.

Just got a call -- no message left.

just got a call from this number on my cell and tried to call back as I did not know who it was and it went directly to a msg and could not leave anything as mailbox not accepting msgs.  Glad I am not the only one and that it is a scam!!!!b6w6

It's just another scamming telemarketer with some fraud or another. All they want is a credit card number to screw you for money, or maybe your bank account and transit code, since your birthdate is often easy to determine once they have your name and one other bit of ID.

NEVER NEVER NEVER answer these calls unless you are expecting that number to be calling you, and if they have something to sell, ask for a hard copy of their flyer or sales brochure by snail mail. That usually shuts them up entirely, since they haven't the time or money to spend on postage and anything in print is a legal commitment - unlike a website that is basically bullcrap.

I am from the portland area, plus I just got a new phone.....so not all my numbers  are on my phone, thats what brought me here.

i do not know who this phone call came from, and i wish not to receive calls from this number.

This number called me today and I didn't receive any one talking to me...It's an scam and very spooki. The weird part was so fast after I went to Strayer University...
