Called both home and cell phone wanting to solicit credit cards.  Try to talk to them they hang up if you start asking questions about whey they are calling.

I got the same call. The guy hung up on me when I said please don't call me anymore.

I got the same call just now.  You get a recorded message saying they've been trying to get in contact with you and this is the last warning to lower your interest rates.  I pressed 1 to get a live person, a girl answered and said "You're calling about lowering your interest rate, right?"

I started to say "Hi, my name is Stephen..." and before I got any further she hung up.  Sick of getting these calls, but it's always from a new number so it's hard to block them.  I'm on the Do Not Call list, but that's not helping.

Next time they call, I plan on going through the process to lower my rates right up until the part where they need any actual information.  Hopefully I can learn who they are.

I got the exact same call about this being my last chance (oh how I wish it were as they call every couple of weeks with the same bull) and to press 1.  I did and asked to be removed once and for all.

This is a number in OR. It's a complete and total SCAM. They hang up on you if you don't fall for the scam...They are phishing for someone dumb enough to give out their credit card info blindly. If you are not so dumb, they quickly hang up and move on. I've received calls for the past 2 months from these same people. It's really annoying, but more importantly really illegal! When I pressed #1 just to talk to them and tell them they are scammers, they just hang up. I hope they can be found and arrested.

ps. Of course they don't care about a Do Not Call list, because the whole thing is illegal. Only a legit company that follows the law will care.

Multiple calls to cell; they hang up without leaving a message of you don't answer.

just received a call from this number. since i didn't recognize this number, i didn't answer and, as usual with these types of calls, they never leave a message.

They keep calling my work cell phone number about special credit card offers.  The red flag was that I don't have any credit cards associated with this number.  I wouldn't give them any information if I were you.  I asked a question and the associate hung up on me.  Couldn't call them back either.

When they called I pressed "1" to get someone on the phone so I could tell them to leave me alone and quit calling.  I get about 3 calls a day from this # and another # they use 205-213-0115.  When I told them to take my # off of their list the guy told me "we dont have to do anything you say, we will keep calling and their is nothing you can do about it." I told him again to not call me again and I got an earful - he told me " you are nothing but a worthless B****, you're a S**** ......." and a lot of other obsenities. This company needs to be shut down.

Yep, now the ID says MERCHANT.  A couple of days ago it said CALLER.  Before that, it said some guy's name.  Give them credit for trying, because they really want your credit information (or the rest of it, since they already have SOME of it).  If you can block the calls, do it.  Otherwise, if you answer, they could care less if you're irritated.  They will hang up on you and go to the next number.  Time is money.....and they want yours.  I don't answer the phone.  Eventually they seem to slow down on the calls for awhile, until the next barrage.

this number called several times, finally answered when asked which financial institution they hung up  the number is a rapid busy when you try to call it back  and they will not give an actual company name.

I don't know who this is or why they are calling me. Please stop the calls

The caller ID says merchant when calling, but when I answer they just hang up. Received calls on my home phone as well.  Whatever scam they're trying to run, it not very well thought out.
