really odd..got a txt that was identical to this message on my cell# yesterday, but from a different # 360-334-2701, but had the same message 'WELLS FARGO ALERT: Your CARD starting with 4868 has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 206-427-9512.' Then it went to my 2nd cell# with the same msg. that is normally turned off. When you google search this online, other people will have commented that they were contacted w/the same message & calls earlier that sameday (vs. it having started weeks or months ago). .. Weird..wondering how they got my 2nd #.  If you call the # it's from or the # listed in the txt (which are different btw) from your cell the automated voice pretends to be Wells Fargo & will ask for your cc #.  Someone in my ofc randomly enough...got the same msg. today, but from the 503#..if you try it from a landline the phone# automatically hangs up on you once you get thru & u will not hear the automated message. Weird. & who banks with Wells Fargo anyway?  :)

got a text from this number regarding my credit card deactivated from Wellsfargo bank which I don't have. contact numbers different from call numbers which is 503-593-4107

we got the identical message. WF said they will NEVER ask or disclose particular info like what is included in the msg. If there is a problem with an account, they say they are the Fraud Dept, or Cust Svc, please call them back on the number you have for them. NEVER enter your cc # or give other information on an incoming call, or txt. Just got one that was from a blocked number, but the same gist...
