I received a call from 503-619-7543 on Memorial Day (5/31/10). It went to my voicemail since I didn't recognize the number. When I heard the message, it was pretty garbled, but I made out Human Resources, resume, and to call 503-619-7433.

I called the number, but it went to a voice mailbox. Hmm. Then, a few minutes later, my phone rang and it was from 503-619-7543 again. The guy's name was Michael something calling from "American Income." He said he received my resume from Monster.com regarding a position I applied to. When I asked him which position, he mumbled something and then said the opportunity was for recruiters, sales managers, etc. I told him I never applied for any positions like that. He again stated he got my resume from Monster and said goodbye.

If you're calling from HR on a major U.S. holiday, something isn't right.

This is a cell phone number from Beaverton, Or. I just got a call from this # today and 2 calls from another cell phone from the same area. I don't answer any # that I don't recognize, and neither one would leave a message. The second # is 503-270-8943. Thanks for your post!

keeps calling..will not leave message.  if i dont know number..I will not pick up

I received a voicemail message from this number yesterday stating he was looking over my resume'.  He said his name was Michael from Human Resources.  I have not applied for a job for a number of months since I have had a secure job for nearly a year now.  I suspect he is a recruiter pulling resumes off various job boards and, since mine wasn't pulled, I was still in the system.  I do not intend to call him back.

I received a call from this number today...it was a female stating she was from American Income.  She said they received my info from my son (verified that this is true)  who indicated I might be interested in their supplemental-health plan. It's a plan that pays benefits to you on covered hospitalizations for   'certain'  illnesses or accidental injuries.  HOWEVER this was about the 6th time I have spoken with them.  Each time I have requested that they meet with me in a public location, such as at Starbucks, and each time they say the same thing...they'll have to speak with the rep and have them contact me if they would be willing to meet in public.  I never get a return call from the rep.  I don't understand why they would be so hesitant to meet with me in public.  I am recently widowed and don't care to invite strangers into my home.  They don't appear to be high-pressure, but they are most definitely persistent!
