Message left goes something like this: This message is for..., if you are not ... please hang up. If you are listening to this message then you are agreeing that you are ..." and so on stating they are attempting to collect a debt. Is this LEGAL?

When they called my home, and I answered they just hung up in my face.

I keep getting calls from this number. Since I do not recognize it, I do not pick up. If they would leave a message, I would know who they are and would deal with it. They do not leave a number so I will not pick up.

They call my house then my husband cell then my cell its a bill collector

god gave you a voice....be human if thats what you are and use it......say...wrong number or tell me who are looking for i just might know them........

I called this number back and they answered Pennicle Financial.

this number called my house and spoke to my husband.  It was a bill collector and he is not on the account they never should of talked to him.  They go against the privacy act and I think that is illegal

I keep receiving calls from this number. It's an automated message that states "This call is for XXX. If you are XXX press 1. If you are not XXX hang up immediately." Since I am not XXX I hang up but this number keeps calling me. This is a new phone number and I have no outstanding debt so I should not be receiving these calls.

I am hesitant to press 1 since I am not who they are looking for but I do not know how to reach a live person otherwise.

First 2 times they called, they left no message.  After that, I got a call stating "If you are $*$*$*, press 1. If you are not $*$*$*, then press 2.  They continued to call after option 2 was pressed. Next time, I pressed the option 1 button. You get a live person this way. I told them not to call and that I was not the person they were seeking. They called again anyway after promising that we would be taken off their call list immediately. I used the same strategy to talk to a person a second time. I told them they would be breaking the law if they called again. The idiot (Oh, I mean person) at the other end of the line promised we would not be called again. He stated his name was Alex Ward. He would not admit that he was trying to collect a debt. By law, debt collectors must disclose the nature of the call.

Same calls. I finally called back and was told I have the same first initial as the person they are trying to call. When I asked "Who are you?" He answered "If it's not you, then I don't see why is that pertinent?" I responded that it certainly is pertinent because they keep calling me even tho there is no one here by that name and we are on the no call list." Finally he said his name is Joe and he represents Integrity Services. Also said he'd remove our number from their list, but from what I'm reading here, I can expect yet another call. We have tried not answering but seem to get even more calls. Very annoying! If there is a next time, I will find out how to report them.
