They've been calling me everyday for the past week, I know it is Spot Security. My cell phone is on the Do Not Call list, I reported them to the Do Not Call registry today.

They called, but there was nobody there.  I called back, and it said that their offices were closed; they called a half hour after they said they were closed.

I got a call but did not answer.  It says the 503 area code is Oregon...?

Spot security--they should know people don't answer unrecognized numbers anymore, if they have caller ID.  Telemarketers, leave us the hell alone. I NEVER NEVER buy anything from anyone who calls me at home.

Spot Security--when I answered they asked for my first name, and I told them not to ever call again and complained about how many times a day they call me..and the lady was very short and rude and very jerky about saying it was the first time she had called...I demanded they not call back or it would be harassment and hung up

I've received multiple calls from this number, but never answer as I don't recognize it. They usualy call between 5-7pm. I am also on the National DNC list.

I waited 38 seconds and could all of a sudden here the phone ring on their side and they answered SPOT SECURITY. I made them wait a minute!

After a bit of research, I think I've found a way to put some pressure back on Spot Security.  The President of the Portland location is Chuck Roberts.  His telephone number is: (503)412-6996 x 5401.  I wonder if Chuck would like people calling him all day, every day asking for him to buy a security system/service?

In this case, my message counts as a valid 'REMOVE' request. If they call again, I'll simply report them to the authorites since we are on the DNC list as well.

They called me because I entered a drawing at a wedding expo and won. I dont have a home or new anyone here who needed or wanted it, who has a home. So mine wasnt a nucience i suppose.

I just had SPOT call me i picked the phone up and hung it back up they called me back instantly i picked it up the guy said i won some kind of sweepstakes i hung up and they called again three times in a row i mean omg what if it had been an emergency

This is a call from Spot Security.  They said I won an $1100 system I never entered a contest for.  I told them I was skeptical, and apparently they have been using this scam from another number as well.

I have received numberous calls from this organization, and my phone is a company cell phone, registered on the 'do not call' list!

They don't leave messages....yet....but I filled out an quesionaire for a magazine on line and then the phone calls started up.

I have also received calls from 503-972-8790, my cell phone is also listed on the national do not call list.  They never leave messages and if you call them you get an answering machine- I left them a message advising that my cell # is listed and demanded they remove me from their calling list.  Hopefully it works, only time will tell.

About an hour ago, Steven Smith from Spot Security called me. Apparently I had "WON!" a Home Improvement Cash Card giveaway. They gave me an email address that I use as a filter, meaning anytime I HAVE to give my email address in order to participate in a site, I give the Filter address to keep spammers away from my real email address. I never check the Filter email. It's a junk only address.

As soon as the guy started rattling off the $1200 GE/Honeywell system I had "won", I started googling the company. My Mac has a spotlight search bar, meaning it anticipates my search word combination based on the most common search combinations. As soon as I typed "SPOT security", "SPOT security scam" popped in third on the list. I pretended something was wrong with my kids and asked if I could call him back. Steven Smith (gosh, why not just use John Doe if you're not going to use your real name) was reluctant to give me the info to do that, preferring to call me himself. Nope, I told him. So I have their info and after reading here and some other comment boards, I'm going to call my state's Attorney General tomorrow.

What I should have asked but didn't b/c I was already multi-tasking, and will ask if given another opportunity is "If I won a Home Improvement CASH CARD giveaway, then why don't you give me a cash card for Lowe's or something?".

This was a cold-call at best and a scam at worst. Don't get involved with this company. Whether it's the best or the worst case scenario, SPOT security is shady.

I answered the call and they said I had won a security system.  Then they asked me if I currently had a security system.  Now I am afraid that my house is going to get robbed....

Just got 7 calls in a row on my cell phone and home phone from these [***]. Here is what we all need to do. Start blacklisting this company by reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and a host of others. Below are the links:
