play acted to be a debt collector, left a long dist number for return, the caller id number is a local catering company .. they spoof a local number then try to collect all your personal information

They did the same thing to me

These people called me for 2 day stating they were collecting a debt from 2013 and they needed me resolve the issue or they would server court papers to my home. The rude woman gave me another number to contact to resolve this matter before I go to court. After talking to this other company and going off, I told them to call the rude woman back and have me served. Today her rude self call saying I guess you didn't call the number I gave you, I told her yes I did and bring those papers cause this is some bull. I gave her my address and told her I'm home and waiting in Lafayette.

The same very rude women called me 4 times yesterday and already once this morning! I spoke to her the first time - she wouldn't tell me what company she worked for - gave me an 855 number to call - then proceeded to call 3 more times after that. This is all at my desk phone and 2 times on my cell.

This same rude lady called me several times today, gave me an 844 number to reach some other people, who in turn were just as rude as she was.  She stated that she was going to serve papers to my job if I didn't resolve the issue today or else.  Well, you can't squeeze blood from a turnip, so they can kiss my A** and call it a day.  So glad that this info was on here.

This just happen to me and they said its a loan from a company i never heard of from 2012.  She called me from a 504-273-1165 number and told me to call a 844 number.  So i waited a couple hours and when I called the 844 number she answered the phone and said let me transfer you to processing and that when they told me about a GTI loan i have which i know i never did.  Then this morning she called from a 310-598-7266 number and I told her this is a scam and i have been recording all your calls.  My husband is a sheriff and I work with the DEA. So i will get to the bottom of this to find out who these people are.  She said her name was Hazel Smith, but that sounds a little fake to me.
