Claiming phone lines will be down in area code 215 between 2am-6am and that I should be aware so that I am not charged for repair fees. But yet I get voice over IP.

I got the same call, from a 504-885-9389 (Louisiana), allegedly from Verizon, saying that there would be a telephone outage in my area.  However, I called 1-800 VERIZON and they said they did not recognize the number, so it's probably a scam.

Got a called 2x from this number.  Stating they are UPS and they have a package for me. They need to confirm my address so they can resend it.  Sounds like a total scam.  After a bit, they transfer me to another person who needs to verify some information before they can resend the package.  I started asking questions and the call dropped.

I had the same message. They say that is from USPS. Ask for information about me. Sounds a scam.

I had a call from this number 504-885-9389. They say was calling from UPS and wanted confirm information because supposedly there was some mail waiting in their office. Don't give them any infromation about you or your family members! It is a fraudulent number!

I just received a call from this number and its the same story as everyone else. I have a package they want to send me and I need to verify my information. Who can we report this to? They kept calling and would not stop after I hung up.

I have been receiving a call from this number asking to give information about my address. When you try to call back it says the number is disconnected. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor and as soon as I started to ask questions the call dropped.
BEWARE: This looks like a SCAM. I will contact the authorities.

Just got a calling saying that they were FedEx and tried to delivered a package but needed to verify my address and other information...did not give them any information..they had my name and address and wanted other information....I told him that I was not going to give out any of my information and I wanted his name and phone number... They hung up the phone. Called FEDEX and asked them and they said no one called and reported it to them. Scam......

We had a call from this number today and my wife aswered, she said that  they have a mail on the Dacula Post Office and they need a confirmation of my sife's name, address and birthday. Unfortunately she gave to them. What I have to do now. Is it a problem for us?....... Thanks.

Be very careful everyone. They are trying to get your personal info. It sounds like fraud.

Someone called for this number wanting to know if anyone at our location spoke Spanish. When I said no they hung up.
