These people keep calling saying they are from Windows and telling me my computer is in danger.

they called me and told me that he was from windows and that my computer is in danger as well.

Indian accent.......called regarding my Windows systems being hacked....said he was with a technical company representing Microsoft.
Has called numerous times.  Different number each time

Just received a call from an Indian man claiming my number was associated with an error message sent to them from my computer that it had downloaded viruses.  When I told him that my phone number is not associated with my computer in anyway I pressed him for more information and he wouldn't give me a company name other than the "Windows Service Center". I hung up on him.

if you check other do not call web sights you will find out this is a scam number,,,it has been reported  many times on other web sights,,, hopefully  the law will check them out very very soon...with new laws in place we can now go after people in other countries,,

same call with same details as other comments..this man, with the heavy Indian accent, actually called me a liar when I challenged him about not having any problems with my system..I also hung up on him..alot of nuts out there in today's world!!

Same scenario.  Indian accent. Supposedly Windows has been sending messages that my computer has a virus and is in danger.  There is no problem.

Same as others....very heavy Indian accent...claims to be receiving error messages from my computer. When I pressed for details he told me he was located in Ca. and I could reach them at 9031828907 or 1252043465. I asked for a name and address and was told, "Springfield near Street 630" and his nane is Rogers.  When I did a reverse check, the call was from India.  (I did call the number that came up on my called ID and alerted them to the fact that someone is using their number - their number was from Albuquerque, NM.)

Got a call from 505-349-4654 claiming I had a problem with my Windows Operating system and they needed for me to perform a check for them because they had received several serious errors from my computer.  When I told them I knew it was a scam and to quit calling me they hung up.  It was a female with a heavy accent that sounded Oriental.  These people have to be stupid to think people would do what they ask.

Just got this call. I know that 505 is the New Mexico area code as I used to live there. I do not answer numbers I don't recognize. I'm surprised how many people still do after knowing how many scams are out there. If it's important, they will leave a message. Don't answer numbers you don't know, please? It will just give criminals like this fuel to continue. They don't deserve the time of day.. Just trying to help you all.  :- )

I received a call from 505-349-4654.  They told me that they had received an error from my computer and would need to work with me to fix it.  I played along, but told them that they were not going to connect to my computer remotely to do this.  The woman, Mia, said she would walk through the instructions with me and would only need to connect if the steps didn't work.  I told her I didn't have time right now, but I would call her later.  She gave me the following number to call her back:  760-933-1534.  She said she would wait for my call.

Called last night at 10pm! Contact your reps in congress. The fix is simple. Require phone carriers to verify the callerid info before placing the call. Yes, I know they'll complain about the cost, but they have failed by not providing unlimited blocking for free.

got the same call about my computer from a woman claiming to bee from Microsoft, with what seemed to be an Asian accent when I told her I knew  it was a scam she hung up

same thing, same story as all others. annoying at best BUT what about the other people who are not as "savvy"? They must be taken for an expensive ride! Is there nothing that can be done about this???

Got a phone call - same as the others - from 505 349 4654 and man with South Asian accent. He went on and on about my Windows computer and I goaded him on with, "OMG...you're talking about my computer???" "How is this possible?" "Is there anything I can do to save it?"
I let him drone on, and then screamed at him that he's an idiot as I have a Mac and then hung up.
My screaming had a nice therapeutic feel to it.

Got the call twice...first time they didn't leave a message on the answering machine.  I answered later on the second call from NM and I could hear a man talking in a foreign lanquage in background.  The person didn't respond when I answered so I hung up the phone.

Get calls from this Windows scammer repeatedly. Isn't there anything law enforcement can do to, at the very least, disconnect that number?

I have gotten calls from the number for the past 2 days (9/22/14, 9/23/14) and when I answer no one is on the line, and  a recording says "thank you" and hangs up.  I HAVE in the past gotten calls with the same scam, but I am not sure if from the same number, as I did not write it down...I started laughing at that person, saying something like--"you've got to be kidding!"--they ended the call.

Just got a call from 505-349-4654.  Caller with thick, foreign accent told me she was from Microsoft and that something was wrong with my Windows computer.  I could not understand what she was saying because of the accent.  I asked which company she was with but did not get an answer.  When I asked to talk to a supervisor, she hung up.
