I did not respond as I don't have a Bank of America account and my cell phone where this was sent to is also on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!  This appears to me to be either a phishing or other type of scam.

Text message allegedly from BoA...will be reporting it to Verizon since the text was sent through their online "vtext" system

Scam call to try to get you to give your bank acct info over the phone so they can clean you out.

I too received a text message from this number today.  I do not have a BOA account

Got same message from Bank of America asking for my bank card number saying my card was temporarily frozen for security reasons. First thing they asked for was my BoA card number, I hung up.

I called Verizon. This is a scam call. Do not give out any information.

I also got this text message. You have to be crazyvto just hand over account information. Of coursevits a scam. If you have any doubt, call the hotline number on the  of your card and ask about the status of your debit card. Never never ever give your account number to anyone unless you're sure who you are giving it to. and if they're calling you, there's no way you can be sure.

Just got the text 45 min ago telling me to contact Bank of America at 505 702 8096. Called Bof A customer service instead and reported to their abuse dept. Will contact Verizon also as I am supposed to be on the Do Not Call list

Same thing called B of A but closed and no way to rach them to ask... SO hung up after I dialed too... HUMMM

just got a call requesting a debit card number, stating that i have a security issue.
i don't have a debit card.

The called my cell phone saying they are from the state of Massachusetts and want me to take a survey.

received a text from 5057028096 to call Bank of America. When I did it asked for my full account number do not give it to them

I had a call to contact 505-702-8096 (Contact bankofamerica); who cares? I don't have a bank of America account. They suck anyway

Got a text saying contact BOA.com..I contacted BOa customer service and reported it.

Texted me today.
Called number.
Auto attendant told me my bank of America debit card was suspended die to a security concern.
Asked me to enter my sixteen digit card number to reinstate. Hung up and called BOA.
Confirmed that it was an sms phishing attack.
