Has called twice-leaves no voicemail

Caller said he was calling from Global muffled talking sounds (I didn't understand what he said) and he was calling because I'm a Comcast Customer.  I just returned all the equipment 2 weeks ago - told him that and he said oh I see that - apologized for calling.  Sounded like he wanted to sell me something additional on the Comcast Account.  Or maybe Comcast just wanted to bug me because I've closed the account.

And the location for the number showing on my phone was Attleboro

Don't answer its not comcast and they are just trying to up your bill. its not a direct call from comcast.

Says they are from Global Marketing hired by Comcast.  No way to verify if Comcast really hired them.  Caller started asking me survey questions on phone usage however I ended the call and told them to put me on their do not call list.

Here's the problem: They say they are from Comcast. OK, prove it! They won't. Instead they ask for my SSN. Say it's to protect my account info. This is an outrageous security fail by Comcast.

This can't really be Comcast.  I do not have an account with them so there is no reason for them to call me.  I blocked the number.

Scammer posing as Comcast trying to get personal information.  Hang up!!

Caller said he is a rep for Comcast. They called my house at 8pm. Noway a real rep would call that late

Called at 8pm.  No message.  Not a legitimate call.  Do not answer.  When it comes to phone calls, never trust, always verify.

trying to scam you for your information. I lead him on with fake info, and he "verified" it with my account. so clearly fake.

Caller identified as Global something or other, as a previous person noted. I only half listened, and could only understand the other half, but the person was calling on behalf of Comcast, checking up on the service I activated a few weeks ago(month ago, OK), to make sure everything was working right, IE that I was receiving the right channels, Internet speed, and that all the components were received successfully. This felt like a sales call to see if I need additional services, until I answered one question and the rep concluded the call. Weird. Likely a fishing expedition to make sure I have Comcast,  I expect a call in the future.

they say they are from comcast and they are asking so much information just to give a promotion in the service, looks like scam.

This number called my elderly father because he has Comcast asking him how much he is spending on his cell phone bill. Tells my father he is from VA working in Mexico for Comcast (Xfinity) trying to get my dad on a no commitment cellphone plan for five dollars and fifty cents a month.
