I got a call from 508-475-1324 on my business cell this morning and they disconnected after I answered.  I called back from my landline and got a fast, busy signal.

I got the same call yeasterday -  callerid says service message- no message left

Same with me, I wonder if it's a call using a calling card, even from overseas.

I picked up the call and they said they were with the Mastecard-Visa company calling to offer me a 6% interest rate if I had been paying my bills on time. When I asked who they reprsented, they said Bank of America ,Citi Bank and Capital One. Asking again the name of their company gave me a hang up on their end, It saved me the trouble! Fraud!!! do not give them any information.

Been getting constant calls from this number, they are calling to lower your interest rate. Caller ID has said "Service Message", but I sometimes receive calls from a Private Number that is the exact same message. I tried pressing 1 to have my name removed from the list, but they still call. I tried speaking to a live operator, and politely asked them to remove my name from the list. They still call. Every single day.

The exact message that is played:

Hi, there are currently no problems with your account. It is urgent, however, that you contact us concerning your eligibility to lower your interest rate to as little as 6.9%. This message will expire shortly, so please consider this your final notice. Press 1 to speak to a live operator, or press 2 to discontinue further notices. Thank you, and have a great day.

Got same call and did not answer.  I have no credit cards.  From what others have said, and having no credit cards, looks like a farse to me.

same call, I did not answer, no message left, I asume someone gets paid per call is why it only rings 3-4 times befor they hang up.

Received 2 calls from this number today. No message left. Caller ID says Service Message.

Ran halfway across the house to get the phone - when I got there, nobody on it & no message left, but it showed "Service Message" attributed to this S. Mass. number

508-475-1324 keeps calling my home.  I have waited to talk to a person 3 times.  I have asked to STOP calling my house.  The last time the guy said 'maybe after your 32 time we'll think about it.  It is for credit cards to lower your interest.  I'm tired of getting them.

I don't have a problem with credit card and want these people to stop calling me.

***WARNING!*** THIS IS A SCAM!! This call started off with Hi, this is Heather from Cardholder services and says lowing your interest rate.   Press one for more details! I did press one and got a person of Indian decent! I BLEW UP! I told him this is just another scam, you just changed the phone number and the name on the recording. I told him this was MY phone and stop calling me. He told me to "stop talking"! Well, I ripped him a NEW ONE! I screamed at the TOP of my LUNGS! I am reporting YOU and also calling the Attorney Generals Office! Again, this is a scam and I am tired of getting them. Do not give them ANY information as it is a SCAM! They will try to get your credit card number! They make so much off of it aand guess what?? YOU LOSE! I reported them last week, as they called me from phone number 512-410-0000, only the recording was from a "Rachelle"! Report them to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm   I am going to report them, yet again.  DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!

Recevied a call early this a.m. from this number and caller i.d. stated Westborough, Massachusetts.  I do not have my answering machine on and I did not answer.  I noticed no one stated where (town/state) this calls originated from.  Glad I did not answer.  Thanks for the warnings!

Got the same call today.  Service Message......hung up and didn't leave message. Sooo tired of all these calls.

I get this type of calls frequently from various numbers offering all kinds of wonderful stuff.  When a person is actually on the other end of the phone line, I request that information be sent to me in the US mail and when they ask for my adddress I tell them to get the address the same way you got my phone number and then I hang up. I figure they are all scamming something and I will never give them any information. I get calls from insurance companies, phone companies, credit card companies, information verification services, banks and so forth. I doubt if any of them are legitimate companies, they are only fishing for a credit card number or other personal info. Such is life in the 21st century.  The do not call list may as well not exist.

I answered the phone because it was a 508 area code. They are tellling us they can lower our  current interest rate on VISA/MASTERCARD and will ask for a bank statement. I spoke to a guy called "Leo" when I asked if I could call back he hung up. Who do I report this to and how?

I am on Tennessee's Do Not Call Registry and this number is in definite violation of the statues.  Why don't people realize they are working harder to scam others than to get a real job!

Came up on caller ID as service call . No one on the other end when I answered it. I reported them to the complaint dept. of the no-call list. :

If the complaint dept is as good as the so called "no call List" - it's probably useless.

This # called today while I was out.  Number showed on my phone.  I get many of these credit card rate reduction calls but mostly no name or number associated with them.   Some I answer and if there is a real live person I tell them to NEVER call me again.  Does it work?  I don't know but I feel better.  They probably just change the # they're calling from.
