googling the number a website pops up for Hillside Motel, in MA, including phone #.
Picked up call by SPEAKER button and waited / did not say anything.
They hung up.
After googling, I called back and it goes directly to a dead phone tone.

Me thinks someone is using this # as a cover.
Will investigate further and add comment if anything is found out.

They just called my number, after telling the guy that I don't use credit cards he hung up on me. The number now goes to a busy tone. Google shows that number is a hotel etc.

Just received a call from this number, a recording said they were with credit card services. But did not specify which company. Told me to press one to speak to an agent about my availability to lower my interest rating. I hung up and called back, got a busy single.

Thanks. Apparently a SCAM!  A new one, since my first comment / original report was quickly followed by others.  Please report to your state attorney general and we can stop them, before they get into too many pockets of VICTIMS!

PRETENDING TO BE CREDIT CARD SERVICE... LOWER INTEREST scam.

Received a call from this number but didnt answer. After reading the other posts I realize its bogus. Sad to see that you cant trust caller id these days. I just figured someone on vacation had the wrong number (hillside hotel) but apparently not. Guess "children cancer" or "breast cancer" wasnt getting the results these sort of [***] hoped for.
