Recorded message.  I hung up before listening to it.  When I called them back no answer on the phone.

The lady on the phone said that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and that I needed to call right away.

Yep. It happened to me too. Looks to be a scam

I guess the IRS is busy today filing lawsuits.  LMAO.  Odd that I never got a letter from the IRS.  I've heard about this type of scam.  I wish Congress would do something about these unwanted calls and scammers

A person called from this number stating he was Officer Simon Watson and an audit was completed on my tax returns and I owed 4,800.00. He transferred me to Jeffery Henderson who proceed to tell me that I was going to jail and my driver licenses has been suspended. While speaking to Mr. Henderson I called the IRS from another phone who instructed me to confirm the ID number of the person calling. When Mr. Henderson learned I was speaking directly to the IRS he hung up. I was instructed to file claim with the Treasury Inspector General. I urge  anyone who receive a call from these con artists to report it to the TIG

I got the message on my answering machine called my account she said it was a scam

I had my fist one last week , now it is a court order calling me. Yesterday they called 2 times on my home phone. About 4 months ago same # they were the IRS . I think they are trying to market on over 65 thinking we are stupid and will give them information.

Received a pre-recorded message that this was the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against me. I should call the number for details.  That won't be happening, but they will be reported for fraud.

I got the call the morning of Jan 26, 2016. Reading these blog makes me sick to my stomach. I fell for it and lost $5000 to these scam.  They call saying there the IS and that you are being audited.  That there will be a warrant out for your arrest if you don't take care of it immediately.  They feed on  your fear of not being arrested . They ask if you have an attorney,  do you have the funds. The first amount they said I owe $6700 and they made met withdrawal the amount out of my bank and deposit it into what later I found was a dummy account at a different bank. They also say it needs to be cash because the bench warrant for the police is being issued in 2 hours and a cashiers check would have a hold. Then they said I was to only deposit $5000 of the $6700 because $5000 was to stop the arrest warrant. They scammed are smart and they know how to speak and have a answer that is mostly threats of arrest, wage garrish, property seizes, etc. Please know that the IS does not function by phone and arrest threats. I wish I would have know that looking back. After I read all these story I hope someone is trying to stop these scammed and if anyone has any info on finding them please let me know. I will submit any info I have to send these scumbags away
