So i received the same voicemail from this number 509-295-4349 stating I am being sued by the IRS.  Like most people, I am not happy to hear the word "sued" so I decide to call from my work phone.  I just had a similar voicemail a week prior from a different phone #, which I called to see what they had to say.

The person who answered the phone had an accent and I asked who (exactly) I was calling?  He stated "You are calling the IRS government" which he proceeded to explain that I am being sure for unpaid taxes. I asked what years he was referring to, which he stated 2008 to 2012."  Well that was interesting because I use a CPA and did for those years, which I told him so. Mind you, I never gave him my name or any identifying information during our conversation.  Finally I asked how do you know who I am? He said, "I see your phone # so I know where you are calling from and who you are... you are calling from a landline."  I advised that I am calling from a landline, but it's not my landline, so how does he know who I am?  He couldn't respond and ended up hanging up.  Haha!  Gotcha back!!

I received a voice message from this number stating that the IRS is suing us. We have someone do our taxes every year and have been getting a refund! This is bogus. They called three times.
