Keeps calling my home # 3 -5 times a day? Never leaves a message?

Has called my cell phone every day for over a week.  When we call back, we get a message machine for a Maria Garcia.  According to other posts, this person changes her name a lot and is a telemarketer for different companies.  She may be based out of Pullman, Washington, Spokane, Washington, or Yakima, Washington.  Not an important caller to waste cell phone minutes on.  Wish she would stop calling already!!!!!!!!!!!

I have gotten calls on my cell phone in the evening from this # 509-335-1743.  I don't answer it because I don't recognize it & I HATE getting junk calls especially in the evening.  They don't leave any messages.

i've received numerous calls from this number as well. i have never tried calling back. however, i had mysterious 3rd party charges on my phone bill that were connected to Quasar Communications. i called to see why i was being charged and they said that i had given the ok to have them as my long distance carrier. they played back a recording they supposedly had of me saying yes to their offer. it was all in spanish. i did catch them, though, asking the name of the person and she responded with "maria garcia."
it's been a mess working with these scammers but now i at least know how they managed to get information from me. i answered this call once before. i don't remember what they said but i can assure you i never said yes to them (in spanish, no doubt) to have them change my long distance carrier.
DO NOT ANSWER THIS CALL! and if you have, make sure you check to see if there are any 3rd party charges on your phone bill. when talking to my provider about the charges, she said that most people aren't even aware that they're being charged. look at your bill!

I got a call and she said she was doing a survey for unemployment benefits. She asked if I drove and thought, 'that's an odd question.' After answering 'yes', she said 'sorry but I can't do the survey if you are a driver'. click

This # just called claiming to be from Fish & Wildlife, and asked for my brother by name.

The often call for RESEARCH purposes, typically not marketing. They never sell you anything. They have your information because it was provided to them by their client with whom you are associated (sometimes government agencies like DSHS, Fish & Wildlife) or service provides (utility providers).
They do not leave messages and will call you 9+ times. It is best to answer the call and if you could possible take a few moments of your time, provide info to the starving college student making a wage by calling people and interrupting their dinners. Of course, always verify the caller is who they say they are and you DO have or have had an association with the company for which they are researching.

This number called my phone multiple times, I did not answer, they never left a message. I finally called it back, asked "why r u callin me eh?" And the lady transferred me to some young guy, probably a student of some kind, asked a bunch of questions for "research purposes" I participated in the conversation, mostly yes or no questions, mot questions wanted one or two word answers, no questions asked for personal information, and I was told I can refuse to answer any question or end the call at anytime. Didnt seem like spam, but annoying that I was giving my time away for free, for some purpose Im not really sure of.

have been getting calls from this number on our prepaid phone for over a week now every night - don't answer because we don't know who it is and they don't leave messages - very, very annoying!!!

This number has called continuously for a couple weeks, typically does not leave messages but on one occasion did. The claim in their message is that they are from WSU and conducting a survey. I have not answered nor responded and will not. Surveys can be conducted by snail mail or email. I won't jeopardize myself, risking extra charges on my phone bill or identity theft from random callers whom I don't know.

They called me too and they said they were in behalf of the Wenatchee school district and asked if I was over the age of 18. So I am guessing it is a survey on the school district and the number said it was from Pullman Washington. I do work at a research center and we say we call on behalf of a company or district. It is simply a survey

I received the same information and that they were calling for DSHS.  They call my cell and home number many times a day.  I finally answered the phone and spoke with a pleasant person.  They were looking for my husband to do a survey.  My husband passed away last July.  She said she would remove all the phone numbers from her system, said she was sorry and hung up.  If you answer the call and say you are not going to do the survey, maybe they will stop calling you. :-)

This was to survey a program I took at the Santa Fe Community College (Back to Work 50 Plus).

Actual person called and asked if anyone works part-time or temporary because they wanted to give me a survey. Told them "no" they said "thank you for your time."

They keep calling me. Recorded and trascripted message: Hello my name is Todd reach out to you and I'm calling on behalf of .......office of financial management..... trying to contact him for your..... in the state of Washington over 18 years of age if applicable please later survey online at www.opinion WSU Edu/temporary...call access code.xxxxx..... I send payment of five dollars.

Keeps calling me even late at night.  Who is this?

This is a survey center at Washington State University.  They are often helping other agencies to contact people for program evaluations or public opinion about topics important to the needs of decision makers.
