i will block this caller very easily with my new IPHONE 6
this is not an ad for Apple its a fact. my last phone the Samsung 2 did not have this feature.
you can bet they will try to call back from the same number.
Now i will not be hearing from them again.
they will try from another number and i will block that as well.
I will no longer pick up the phone unless it is a caller from my contact list.
I used to get so frustrated by this Phishing callers. I even added call blocker to my cell number.
I also spoke and filed a complaint with the FCC. They are very much aware of this issue. They offered a 50,000 reward if someone could come up with an APP or program to limit these disturdbences in 2014.
The best thing i have found after being so pissed at these people and after reading other peoples ideas is to simply dont answer the phone then block the number.
If it was important they would have left a message. If it was a family member or someone calling with a real emergency they would have left a message. Now that the call is blocked they will have to call from another line.
Phishers and scammers don't bother calling me any more. Thank you.
Copy and paste this info. next time you get the call. Pass it on.
I hope this helps,
Jimmy Oreally

- Call type: Telemarketer
- JenniferWhen I answer no one is there. They have been identified as a telemarketer.
- oldmodelA| 3 repliesNo message left. I have an android phone instead of an I-Phone. I won't pay for call blocking. I created a DO NOT ANSWER listing in my phone "people" and in settings for that listing, I set DO NOT ANSWER to go directly to voice mail. When I get a call that does not leave a message, I edit and add these phone numbers to it. IF they call again, caller ID brings up DO NOT ANSWER. I don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number.
- joeThey keep calling, two to three times a day, but no one was there.
- Fred MahoneyI have received calls from this number and numbers all over the country make it stop!!
- Jake HayeCall from this number on my CELL. I didn't answer, no message left. Stop wasting my cell plan minutes!!!
- bob replies to oldmodelAMy Galaxy Note 3 has a "add this number to the reject list", that way I know I won't be bothered from them again. Now if we can just block all the new numbers that seem to call every other day.
- EddieI answered and it was a recording starting with "hello seniors, now that the health care law has" I hung up at that point. Im not a senior, not nearly.

- nick r.Y u MST call and no answer
- Me replies to oldmodelAJust FYI, there are free call blockers such as calls blacklist for android. I have used that successfully for years. My galaxy S5 has a built in blocker.
What burns me is that they don't stop, regardless of donotcall or ftc or lists like this. - GRThese telemarketers are about as clueless as it gets. First off, they have a computer dial you. In my opinion, if you are not employing good people to make these 'important' calls to hundreds of people each day, and you have taken away their job to replace it with an automated message, then I don't want to give you my money.
Second, when it goes to my voicemail, I don't even get a complete message. I get, "...lower your interest rate now. Press two..." Really???? That's the best your company can do, with an automated system that replaces American Jobs? What, did you spend $1.98 on that equipment, or do you just not know how to configure it to start the recording after my voicemail greeting? So that is strike two against companies that do this calling.
I really can't believe that telemarketing is even around in this day and age. I mean, I understood why it was back in 1991, but there are so many other ways now, when it comes to marketing any service or product.
Leave us alone! Don't call us, we will call you...if we need your service!- Caller: 5093695425

I have a Samsung Galaxy. Under settings, there is a "Blocking Mode" that only allows calls from people on your "Allowed List". The problem is, you have to make sure you have everyone's phone number listed....
Instead of going this route, I created a contact called Spam 2015. I don't answer calls from #s I don't recognize. Then, I check the # on the Internet to see if it's Spam/Scammers. If so, I update my Spam 2015 contact with the new #. Then I mark the new phone number with "Add to Reject List" in the Spam 2015 contact. So, anytime these Spammers call, my phone doesn't ring, but the caller display log shows the phone # with SPAM 2015 next to it.
I believe there's a limit of 100 #s that can be blocked. So, when I hit the limit, I go back into Call Settings -> Call Block, and delete a few of the old numbers that they haven't used recently.- Caller: Credit Card Services
- Jerry FyeKept asking for a real person, of course i was getting a prerecorded message, and did not get that real person. Calling from the state of washington offering to lower my credit card interest rate.
