Spammer, says he is from IRS.

Left an automated message that said the IRS had filed a suit against me and I should call them back at this number to get more info on the case file.  I think my accountant's office probably would have notified me since my CPA always files for me.

Received a phone call/message stating that I should call the above number as it was the IRS and they were going to file suite against me.  It didn't sound legit so wanted to report it.

Said it was the IRS and was filing suit against me sounds like BS it me.

Received a missed call from this number.  They left half a voicemail (was cutoff at beginning and end), saying it is the IRS and a lawsuit has been filed against me.  When I called the number back, the woman acted as if she was looking my phone number up in her database and asked if I was Christina XXX.  I said no, I don't know who that is and she proceeded to ask what my name is.  I told her if she was trying to reach the person she had just named, then she had the wrong number and did not need my name.  She then hung up on me.

This number called me twice today (10/30/2015).  The first time I let it go to voicemail.  When I checked the voicemail it was only half of it because it was automated and all I heard was call this number immediately.  I deleted the voicemail figuring it was crap.  This same number just called me again about 2 min ago, but this time I answered it.  The automated voice said the IRS has been trying to reach me and that this was their last effort.  It stated that the IRS filed a lawsuit against me and that I needed to call them back.  At this time I knew it was a scam and googled it which brought me here.

I have gotten 4-5 calls from this number.  it is id'd as being in Kennewick, WA.   Common sense till me the IRS is in not in Washington state.  Said like the other comments--saying it is the IRS and a lawsuit has been filed against me.  This is a scam.

Just received my 3rd call today from this number with the IRS BS.
Funny that its on my cell phone. The IRS doesn't have this number.

this number called me twice today. they Claimed they are with the irs and I owe back taxes. I am calling IRS to verify and turning them into the IRS and the Police department. They are a Scam. IRS will contact you through certified mail first.

I got a call from this number saying that they had been trying to reach me and this was the final notice that the IRS was filing suit against me and I should call back immediately. When I called back, it was busy for about an hour and then I called back again and the person answering asked what is my name. When I asked him his name and where he was located, he paused and said his name was officer Blake and he was in Washington D.C. (which was a red flag already because the caller ID said Kennewick, WA. He asked for my name again and I told him he called me so he should already know my name. He then hung up on me. Nothing but scammers.

It is a scam...they change the number every day. Call them back and give them hell...don't be scared. They should fear us!! Unite and stop being a victim. Call and Jack with their callers. This is AMERICA!! Spread the word!!!

The same info about calling from IRS

I've gotten three voice mails from this number (so far) today. As others have said, they claim to be the IRS and they are "filing a lawsuit" against me. I have Google Voice, which transcribes the voice mail and sends me an email, which I forwarded to the IRS fraud department (phishing@irs.gov). I don't give my Google Voice phone number to anybody, so they must be robodialing.

3 times they left a voicemail today. when i called back from a landline they said they were the IRS. didn't give them any info but how do they get away with this?

Same as prior callers. Half a message stating they are the IRS and they're suing me.

First time they called the 509 area code in WA Came across as call from Haiti.  So that's home base for this scam!

2 times one day, 3 times the next... persistent but bogus.
Call them back... give nothing out and have fun.
