Exactly Got the same call...apparently they are filing a lawsuit against me. :-)

WAOW the IRS must be suing a TON of people because this number is popping up all over the place, Scam call, Filed a complaint with IRS Inspector General (tigta.gov).

A lady called in the morning about us having problems with the IRS and called again this afternoon at 4:05 pm...my home # 720 870 -3611

I received a call from 509-560-4504 stating that this is the final call and that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.

same IRS complaint. they had my name wrong and my address wrong as well. claimed that they sent 'letters' to old address. so i yelled at them awhile and it made me feel better.

Yes, these folks keep leaving automated messages that the IRS has filed a suit against me.  Trouble is that I know  a lawyer that works for the IRS and he told me that this is NOT how the IRS works.  Whoops.  When I called, I told the person who answered that I'm recording our call is that OK and they hung up.

they called me twice also! Not even an 800 number!

I thank you those you has posted this incidents.  It helped me to realize it is hoax.  I had already heard about this scam.  I think the IRS should investigate and punish the crooks.

Same story here, bogus "IRS" call. People if you want this to end, the IRS doesn't do investigations on this sort of thing. go to https://www.irs.gov/uac/Newsroom/IRS-Warns-of-Phone-Scam to learn what to do. If you call the IRS to report the incident, they will direct you to www.tigta.gov or https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/index.shtml . Report these worms!

I received the same call saying that is the IRS final notice and they are filing a lawsuit against me, first I was What? and scared then I thank that Check the number and I saw and I confirm that is a SCAM so we have to be AWARE...
