I received a call from 509-588-7036 ( my call display showed that it was from SKYPE) The called me by name, using my home number and specified the exact email I used for my Skype account. They said that they have received complaints that i was sending messages to people asking for social security number, home address and banking info. All of which i do not do.
They asked that i call them back within 24 hours otherwise they will block my email account.
RED FLAGS all over the place. First, this is the same number used for other different scams.
What scares me is that they have 3 pieces of my personal information. Has Skype been hacked? The real funny thing is that my home number is not associated with Skype.
