I R S called and told me they were going to sue me.  They want me to call them back.  What TOOLS!

Yeah they did that today to me. On the news IRS representatives stated that they would never call they would send a letter in the mail if they were going to and if you are unsure they said go on their website and get an official number of you do have any concerns.

Something needs to be done about this.

IRS message stating lawsuit

got called from this number stating final notice that irs is fiking a lawsuit   at 10 am July 14, 2015 called back rang 15 times no answer

Caller stated he was from IRS and a lawsuit was being filed against me and I had to pay almost $900 to avoid being arrested.

Caller said his name was Alex Fisher he had an Indian accent

I am an Enrolled Agent, licensed by the US Treasury.  I represent taxpayers in front of the IRS.  The IRS NEVER calls or emails taxpayers and they never "sue" them either.  They will, if you do not open and read your mail, levy a bank account, garnish your wages or lien your home.  They will always send you notification to the last address they have on record for you, which is the address on the last income tax return you filed.  Please don't fall for this.  I am reporting this to IRS fraud unit today, as my office received one of these phone calls today!

Robocall pretending to be be from IRS and  telling they will file a lawsuit....if I don't call this number back...

This number called stating irs has been trying to contact me in regards to lawsuit.   Gave me number to call back.

They call me every single day like clock work. Always from a hidden number. When I answer, it's a recording stating the IRS is suing, etc, then leaves this number. I call back and it's the same Indian guy every time and he always hangs up as soon as he hears my voice. Prooobably because I've had some fun messing, or "palling", around with him, if you will, as I've gotten used to these calls. You'd think he'd be annoyed enough with me to just stop calling altogether... Ugh now when I call I get a busy signal. Pity.

509 855 4898 no. Left me a message today in the morning and this afternoon. Saying it was the final notice and to call back that number. I did and a male answered me and I asked what was all about and he said is a sue IRS against you. You need to resolve this now. I said I need translation;  he says there's no time I said I call back and he said they will have arrest me by a police officer they were going to send.

I had a voice mail message stating the IRS was going to sue me asked me to call 509-855-4898. I did. The man show answered had an accent said his name was officer Roy King, Badge # 1372. Said that the IRS was ready to file a lawsuit against me for a total of $2697.00 as he was explaining to me I Googled the number and saw all these remarks.  He told me I could settle out of court. I told him I would not do that he became and and raised his voice stating he was sending the police to arrest me and put me in jail.  I told to please do that and he hung up on me. SCAMMER.

You are correct, Dave.  IRS does not call!

For the past two days, I've received calls from 509-855-4898, stating that IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.  I know this isn't true, because I'm an employee of theirs (in very good standing)!

Please note, IRS does not make phone calls!  They send letters.  Do not return a phone call to these scam artists!

Last and final call ... IRS is after me ??

7/18/15  received call from IRS 509/855-4898 said they were suing me - not reason, just for me to call back.  I called on Sunday to see if there was a voice message and the voice is a foreign voice - sounded UK.

How do we report this to get them arrested for fraudulent call?  509/855-4898.  Can we report them to the REAL IRS and will they investigage?

after making adjustments to parents phone system with AT&T, my parents are receiving a record breaking number of Robo calls and spam. This was the latest claiming to be IRS and threatening to sue.
