Call my cell phone from 510-200-0029.  No message.
Tried calling that # back & just got recording that said "Southwest Collections" then silence.
I am debt free so don't know why these [***] are calling me.

I've been getting numerous calls from those guys lately. They call at the same time at approx. 2:20 PM on weekdays

Today I decided to call 510-200-0029 and an actual person answered. I just hung up.

Funny thing is I'm not in any debdt.

Is this a scam? Well, my skepticism tells me so.

Next time they call me I think I'll "play with them" a litte:)

Play them for fools of which they are.

They claim to be from Southwest Credit Systems which is a legit company based in Texas. But the 510 area code that some spammer is using is from Hayward, California.

A spammer is using a legit company name for their own phishing scheme. My research shows that the phone number 510-200-0029 is being used at a private residence in Hayward, California. Also, there are other numbers this con is using; always 510-200- then with different last four digits.

These phishing schemes happen all of the time in junk email's and it has infiltrated to our cell and land phones.
