My wife and I got a phone call from this number and we didn't receive a voicemail.

Somebody call me too many times from this number and I don't know who was.

Also my wife have call from this number, any body know where is can from ?
Because I call that number and I have msg said incorect number ????

I just talk to my wife and the number is a calling card from Peru.

The 'area code' is the international and local code for Lima, Peru; 398-7300 is apparently the generic number for a public phone. Somebody must have dialed the wrong number.

I receive a call from this # from someone that is runing away.  a fugitive running away from the police he suposto show up for court his Name is Miguel Angel Rodriguez trujillo he is from lima peru  but when I talk to him he said he was in mexico but trace the call and figuire out the number can someone tell me exacly the adress where this number is located and the name of the place

The guy called me and asked for my name in spanish? weird

I actually have a friend vacationing in Peru, but I wasn't expecting to hear from her. When I saw this number come up on my caller id, I didn't recognize it, so I googled it.

I minute or so later, I got a voicemail from my friend. She confirmed that she is calling from Peru.  Maybe she's calling with a calling card, as 'Mario' noted above...?

I have a good friend that lives in Lima, Peru.  When she calls, 511-398-7300 shows up on the caller ID.  Must be a calling card company number.  I have never had a problem with this number calling me.

I got a call from this number as well. They called my cell phone on 2/15/09 at 9:41:16pm, 2/16/09 6:50:40am, 2/16/09 7:21:56am, 2/16/09 7:25:07am, 2/16/09 8:01:10am. This number also showed up on 2/15/09 at 9:44:14pm without 511 and just showed up as 398-7300. Is this really Lima, Peru?

i wonder how these con artists get are numbers when cell phone records are kept private

I have been receiving calls from this number as well, utterly randomly, but usualy in twos and threes when they do call.

Always in spanish or latin language, and always prerecorded with the same dang message.

I know 511 is a US  info number to call, so I'm not sure how they are getting through it to make these calls.

I got a call from this number 06-03-09 first at 11:46am, then at 8.58pm i got a call from "unavailable" immediatly after the "unavailable" stopped ringing the 511-398-7300 rang, then again at 9:14pm and again at 9:27pm.  Not leaving any messages.  I have been ignoring the calls so far but this is getting rediculous!! It is now 9:35pm and I am wondering how long this is going to continue?  when I looked up this area code it just says travel information line, no detail on where from.  What do I do if it won't stop?  Where is it from?

i received this call today (fathers day 09). I know it's from Peru since it has the 511 code.. anyways someone left me a creepy message "hiiiii im kiddding with youuuuu" spoken very slowly and with static sound in the background...
either way, never answer calls from numbers that you dont know. If it is important, they will leave a message. period.

keep getting calls from this number all day! I answered the call and he spoke in Spanish. I told him never to call my # again.

Person id'ed herself as Chavonne and that I called her.  Blocking her from my number.  Had three calls from her over the past few weeks.

This is a kinda creepy concept. I got called at around 11:35 from this 511 number. Then about 30 seconds later i got a call from the suburbs of Philadelphia.

This number IS a calling card.  The person that called me was in Lima, Peru on a phone using the card and this is the number that appeared on my cell phone.  Just like any calling card, we can't return the call, just wait for the person to call again.
