They call me from several diff fake numbers and always leave the same ret number on the message.  When I call back someone with a heavy accent answers.  I always ask for the company name to which they reply "give me your number and I will give you the information". How STUPID do they think I am??!!  Its a scam - repot them and IGNORE!!

I have received several phone calls from a Victor Johnson with a heavy foreign accent that claims he is with APS(Affidavit Processing Service). He claims that an affidavit has been filed against my social security number and wishes to discuss the matter with me. He has also contacted a friend of mine and one of my siblings to discuss this matter. I don't know who he is not have I ever heard of this company.
When his calls come through, it is listed on my caller id as: 052-797-982 but he leaves his name and number to call as 512-229-0184. I tried calling this number today and the phone does not ring. I believe that this is a scam & someone is trying their hardest to get me to pay them money to make it go away.

I received a call from this number same company.  Male had left vm stating he knows one of my relatives and he left call back # 512-229-0184.  My relative is not familiar with this company at all.  I called number back also from a private number and same thing happened.

It's a scam they got info. from people applying for payday loans online...it's a scam I repeat spread the word report them to local police dept. tell them you file charges all they do is make empty threat...all I did was tell they azz off and they left me alone...they claim investigators are coming to get you and your family who is probably your reference...it's a joke and scam!!!

They have been calling me at work and harrassing me.  Filed a report with my local police department today.  This is a scam.  BE STRONG is what the officer told me.  Today they left me a message and told me they were going to call me 1,000 times at work tomorrow.  Since it is out of my area, probably will need to call the FBI--- THIS IS FRAUD

"Allan Smith" from APS (Affidavit Porcessing Service) claiming that something has been filed against my Social Security Number. I apparently owed Cash Advance USA money.... have never done business with them as far as I can recall.
I asked for the number to Cash Advance USA, was given 610-886-1206. First time I called I owed $300 plus the interest from November 2009, now my balance is $683... ended the call to go check my bank statement (checked my bank statement - never got money from this place). Called back to ask what the exact date was that I supposedly received the funds. He said he didn't know why APS was calling adn that he would find out why they were calling me... sounded like he was conference calling someone... got the weird tones for a few seconds and then I hung up. Called back to get hung up one again.
Called APS again to try and get some answers and got hung up on again. Every single person I spoke with counded like they were from India.

Also filed a report with the FBI today... did it online...

I received a voicemail message from a Mr. Thomas something about a Social Security # the man had a very strong accent. When I called 512-229-0184 the man was trying to get my information said his name was Shawn Turner from APS Affidavit Processing System. The call sounded like he was in a car with the windows down. After reading on this website I just recently tried to apply for payday loans online. This is a scam!

I have been receiving calls from a man by the name of Adam Taylor. He has made threatening remarks to my coworkers and I have filed complaints. If any know of anything else I can do to get this [***] to stop calling my place of business I would greatly appreciate it.

Yep this is a scam both 512-229-0184 and 610-886-1206 belong to the same company/scammers...  It's easy to have them stop calling you...  I called them back to back to back to back for over 1hr and 30 minutes talking very reckless the guy gave up and said that they would never call my number again.  All I can say is be-careful with those websites claiming to be give out Cash Advances most of them are fake.  I recorded the conversation and will upload it to youtube later on.  Search for "APS Scam recorded conversation".

Call them non-stop they will be glad to remove you off the list.

I have been receiving a lot of phone calls in the last month from 415-880-5599, but asked to call back 512-229-0184, and a guy named Sam or Matt with really heavy accents telling me that a friend has put my name and number down as a reference for a Payday Loan of $1500 and that before I get in trouble I am to call them.  This is a scam!  My friend never took a loan and they are calling both my sister and I about this.  We have both told them to not call us or we will press charges and they still call.  I was called 8 times today in just 5 minutes.  I did not give them the opportunity to talk, I yelled at them and told them I was going to the police and he told me to do what I had too...so I did go to the police and filed a report then had my number changed.

Hey Guys these same people are calling and harrassing my sister because someone she knows used her as a reference on a payday loan that they defaulted on. They call her on her cell phone everyday telling her that she is responsible for the loan. She has told them over and over that she has lost contact with the person they are looking for and an Indian woman tells her she doesn't believe her and will call her untill she gets what she wants. Well that really pissed me off and we are one step away from finding there address and sending them a Cease and Desist Letter so far I have learned by public record they are located in Elgin Tx somewhere close to a street called Hunters Trail and its not a building it is a house. Hope this helps someone!

This is absolutley absurd! Why don't these people give up?  They called me a month ago three times and I was actually yelling at this guy because he claims he has all this info about me and I don't owe anybody money from an unpaid payday loan.  I know he got my info from those stupid pay day loan ads and I feel that they got my info from Cash Advance.  A man named Thomas called me the first time.  I blocked two of the different numbers he called me from (213) 426-8993 and (516) 882-5323.  Now he using a funky phone number 052-556-790 and telling me to call 512-229-0184.  These people are officially harassing me by giving me threats.  It's obvious that they are fraudulent scammers who need to be stopped.  Keep bugging the police and the FBI about them.  The authorities will be so irritated by the onslaught of complaints about them that they will be urged to move in and catch these crooks.  Names they have used are Shawn Turner, Adam Taylor, Allan Smith, and Victor Johnson.  Someone else mentioned that seem to be located in Elgin, TX on a street called Hunter's Trail.  These people need to be locked up.

Recieved a call from "Steve Marshall" on May 13, 2010, very heavy accent, claimed he was from some comany called APS(affidavit processing service). He says my niece never repayed a loan and he wanted me to  call him before he was "forced" to file charges. My niece called him asking him what loan he was talking about and why he was calling and harassing us, he could not answer any question posed to him. I will definately be filing complaints with the FBI and BBB, these people are predators, if they call just threaten them with your own legal action and they will leave you alone.

I have received several calls from Edward Walker at 610-886-1206...very heavy accent also (India)....very busy sounding place..leaves threatening messages...called one of my friends and did the same....leaves a call back number of 512-229-0184....I called back and got a 'supervisor' and told him to cease and desist, that I called the Attny. General's office, and he started to yell at me...so I yelled back and told him again, not to call me at work, not to call my friends, etc...I am now going to file a complaint with AG and FBI....I unfortunately have taken out payday loans, (stupid/desperate me)..

Ya, samething going on over here. The arabian guy calls and has ALL my info. Says I didnt pay for a payday loan that I took out over the internet. I never took anything out over the internet. You can tell when you talk to him that he has no idea what he is doing. When you ask for paperwork they say they cant send them. When you ask for a supervisor his wife gets on the phone. They are both nasty and threatens you with court and everything else. What they dont know is Im a bail enforcement agent and can also do skip tracing :) I know where the calls come from and who the number belongs to. The information I have was sent to the Denver field office for the FBI since the number is a landline number and comes from Elgin, TX. I suggest and the field officer I talked to, is to pull your credit report and make sure there is nothing on there that shouldnt and to file a complaint with the FBI. The web address is as follows.
