Karen from EAS trying to collect from a student loan.  She is very rude and impersonal.  I called back and spoke to Ashley Johnson, who is very empathetic and explained all my options.  She mentioned that I wasn't the only one that has complained about her co- worker Karen.  Also, Linda is very helpful.

I am getting repeat phone calls from the same company, a woman, looking for my brother. I told her the relationship and to stop calling me. She interupted numerous times asking for his number. I refused to give her his number and she asked why I am so nasty. I told her that the calls are annoying at which point she said I'll call you tomorrow too. She called looking for Edward Serafin @3:40.

EAS, a debt collector. I called back immediately. The operator was courteous, and verified that my name was not on any list, and that I had perhaps been listed by someone as a reference for something.

She politely asked which number I was called at, I politely declied to give it out.

Received a call at home office for one of our employees.  Told her that we do not take messages for personal calls.  She insisted that this was a business call, so I asked if she was one of our customers, to which she replyed No.  She then asked to speak to the employee's manager and implied that I was to forward her name and number on to the manager - Nice try!

Received a 4th call looking for my sister, told them that I do not have a relationship with her and for the 4th time, I asked them no longer call my number.

A person calling stating she is from EAS trying to collect a debt for a student loan called at my place of employment and was very rude. When I told her that I was paying my student loans and that it was not going to collections and that I was working with another company to comply with my payment requirements, the woman stated that is the company that gave us your name and that there was arrangement made on my account. I then asked for her number and told her that I would call back. I verified with the company that my payment arrangements are made through and verfied that it had not been sent to collections. I called the number back 512-310-3459 where the woman stated it was her direct number, the number on my caller id had 512-310-3498, it went directly to voicemail and said, "you have reached (silence) please leave your message after the tone". If this is a company trying to collect debt, wouldn't they have the company name and the persons name of which you are calling? Seems fishy to me!

All these ppm claim u have a debt for loans&i told them no i dont i paid them off6 mons ago they told me no i didnt .i replied YES i did&i have the proof&confirmatin#'s on record@hm.they said its another loan NO ITS not.then they said me my employer&wife will be sued.&taken to court i then LAUGHED @them they kept sayin u need to pay this .I ALREADY DID&then they asked who u pay who u call.(its not a typo thats what they said verbatim)i said im not given u ANY INFO.they said then u will b taken to court if u dont tell me.i said fine ill bring my proof to court&submit it Then.they get flustered easy HIT THEM W/ a bunch of ?'s you guys there reading a script&it throws them off.its also fun to prank them back after a couple times they shut that#down

Yes i as well have a problem with this.This number and several others keep calling me wanting karen i have told them on more then one occation that this was not karen and today i was just tired of it and i said this is not karen and i hung up.The person had tha audasity to call me back and get smart with me i just could not believe it and i still cannot believe what is going on with the thinking of people to do something loke that.I mean come on if i do not want someone calling my home,i should get the RESPECT that is givin...Im just at all...

I have gotten several phone calls from this company looking for an ex boyfriend of 7 years ago. Every time they call I tell them that this is not his number and I am not in contact with the person they are looking for. They have continued to keep calling and this time I yelled and hung up on the person calling. I'm sure they will call back.

I called the number back and asked to be removed. The woman was a little pissy but we will see if they call again.

Have received telephone calls from this number trying to reach my minor daughter, however they will not tell me the nature of the business.  Rude guy named Stephen.  When calling back, they won't divulge information due to privacy regulations.  Again, they are not going to get through me to my under age child.

Just got the phone call yesterday(7-13-14) must have been out when called. BUT phone number was different than above but it is from the same EAS, Inc. 512-310-3423. "MIchael" stated that they were trying to collect a debt and to call him back at 1-888-320-0337 Ext. 3423. Tried calling since yesterday (4 times)and today(2 times) and every time it was a recording stating that the caller at this extension is not available! And yes, the first menu recording stated it was EAS, Inc.

In my household there are NO student loans and none of our bills are 30 days or more late!!!! Which means we should not be getting these type of phone calls!!!!
