The best thing you can do when you receive calls you don't want, regardless if they are unsolicited or not, is to stop telemarketers and annoying calls by requesting to be placed on the internal do-not-call-list of the company. You should also sign up your phone numbers with the National Do Not Call Registry. This will help reduce the amount of unsolicited calls you receive and enable you to file complaints against those callers who believe they are above the law.

So far this is the 6th number they have used in their attempts to contact me. These people are shameless con artists. I have NO pending court matters of ANY kind. What makes it even worse is that it's a robo call - no live person on their end.

Just an FYI I have been recieving their calls non stop for months. I just forward all phone calls from area code 512 to a bogus TN#   They come after unpaid tickets.  they have been trying to collect a $50 ticket I got and had resolved from literally 20 years ago.  I don't have the energy to take legal action against them.  They are scammers.

I had been getting these calls for a qwhile and decided to call back.  They asked for the phone number that had been calling and then asked if my name was what is on thier records.  When I told them that it was not me they replied that they would take me off thier list.

I hope that works because the calls have been daily for a while now.

phone just activated and got calls from 512-623-6795 who are they?

Whenever you receive a telephone call from Gila Corp (doing business as Municipal Services Bureau), do take note of everything they say. DOCUMENT the phone call, keep a log of their telephone number, the name of the person calling you, the date, time, place and the subject of the matter.  

These people are SCAM artists. This corporation buys old, uncollectable and, many times, already-collected bills from private businesses as well as government entities (i.e., municipal governments, counties, et cetera). The corporation buys the bills by the BULK ..for pennies on the dollar......their business is to Collect as much as possible and move on to the next target.....BEWARE

They called me today.  So glad I found this website!

Get calls from this number 3-4 times every single day. A year ago they contacted me about an unpaid ticket I had in California, which I thought I had paid off long before. I had received a letter from the court also, so I knew the debt was legitimate. I started paying $50 a month, as I owed near $300....

Paid it until I owed only $31 remaining, then the next month they called and said I owed $331. WHAT? I told them I want proof showing what I have paid, and an explanation of what I owe. They have yet to send me any proof, yet they call 4 times a day. I just call them back and hang up on them every time they call me.

The voice mail for this number says that, I may have an outstanding court date for something and leaves a toll free # to call back. I do not have any outstanding things and have not called the toll free # back. How do I get them to stop calling? it is annoying. Thank you.

They just started with the "You might have an important court........yada yada".  Yeah, I might, contact me by mail, I am not going to call you back.

Recorded message saying "Someone in this house might have a pending courta action, press 1 to speak to a representative to help you." Pressed 1 to ask the representative to take me off their phone list and all I got was music playing for quite some time. This is the 2nd call today I have received from 512-523-6795. Same thing happened each time.

they called me about taking the local light rail without purchasing a ticket, when I was 14.  I am 30 now.   Not only is this unpaid debt completly uncollectable, it was removed from my credit report after its' 7 year time frame many years ago.  They claimed they could put a hold on my dirvers' license if I didn't pay them the ancient $42 ticket I had received back then.  I called my state to make sure I was okay, and they told me that drivers' licenses weren't suspended over this reason, and a ticket from when I was 14 would have been sealed on my juvinile  record anyways and couldn't even be seen, let alone acted on.

I did sign up for the do not call registry. However, I still get calls from Gila Corp and other unsolicited companies.
