Got a call saying that is Bureau of Crime Investigations. Said they had my social and name attached to a crime, They said they are collecting for Woodforest Bank. Very rude people. They told me they who have me arrested today at 3 pm if i did not pay. Those people are crazy!!...I do believe it is some type of scam. You all beware!!

I got the same call today!!!.  His name is "Tony Brown"....lol with an accent so heavy he is very hard to understan..... Ignore them.....scammmerrsss!!!!

Complete scam!!!

i came into work just now and my boss handed me the message. Officer Tony Brown of BCI from a case back in 2005. I feel so embarassed with my boss. I googled the number because it was very strange and all indicates it is a scam. This is very disturbing to be called at work.

My husband received a call from a person with a thick accent from this number, stating that I owed money on an ISF check from a payday loan company that I use with semi-regularity.  The person became aggressive on the phone and my husband hung up on him. I called back and the person answered the phone "Can I help you?", no company name, nothing.  I told him who I was and asked about the debt.  He told me that I had an Insufficient Funds check from the payday loan company from 2/11/09. I asked for a copy of the affidavit he was reading from so I could research the debt. He stated "you will not receive anything from me in writing". He repeatedly asked what my "intentions were" to pay the bill today over the phone. I told him I would want the bill before I sent him any money. He told me he would call the police and have me arrested if I didn't pay the bill by the deadline, which is today.  I hung up on him and called the company he stated he was collecting for who verified for me that I didn't even have any outstanding loan at that time, and have never had an ISF check with them.  Scam, scam, scam. Fortunately, I talked to him on my work phone, which is a recorded line. Working with hubby to file a complaint with the appropriate law enforcement areas.

Received a threatening phone call. Said I would be behind bars today and come to my work and arrest me. Also that I would have a mark against my social security number. Would not give me an address or information. Said go and get a walmart prepaid credit card to pay them from a payday loan company I used over the internet.

this is the same as im going threw right now . got a fraud alert and with my ssn all that , they know all of my personal info . its a scam i had cops talk to them and they wouldnt give any info to the cops so its a scam , now today i geting a call different number same guy different name of corse saying hes going to f me and my girlfriend and other stupid [***]

These people have been harassing me since last August/September. In the past they have called me from 949.502.0123, and today when they called me it actually showed up as "Unavailable" but in the message they left, the # they told me to call back is: 512.629.4333.  Same people.  Very loud background, very thick Indian accents full of threats. They claim that I have 3 serious charges against my social security number & that I am going to get picked up by the cops if I do not settle this matter in full blah blah blah.  I've had calls from Officer Mike Jones, Officer Eric Jefferson, and a plethora of other non-Indian generic names.  They have my social security #, my old bank account #, and have gone so far as to actually attempt to debit the bank account to which they have the information for.  Luckily, I closed that account months ago (the smartest thing I did last year).

The first time they called I googled the number and saw all the comments, hauntingly familiar, the big Vegas blue blinking lights went off in my mind with this conclusion:  THIS IS A SCAM.  My guess is they hacked into a database of people who filled out any online financial application or loan request.  They have even called and threatened my sister whose name happened to be on whatever page they stole my information from.


Every time they call me, I call them out on their scam, they promise never to call me again...a couple months go by, and BAM some new officer Jim Dick or Jon Doe (oh ya because officers call to collect debts all the time..) anyways I've had enough.  Please report these numbers.  Its getting bad today they actually threatened to come to my town and do some really vulgar things.

I got the same call, and found this website before I czlled them . I called them just to insult them, and they immediately started insulting me back, talking about my mother.  Funny stuff.

I got a call at work from this number 512-629-4333 from a Tina Walker and she said that she was going to have me arrested today if I didn't make a payment today with my debit card...I asked to send me something in writing stating that I owe this money and she got really rude so I just hung up the phone...and there was a lot of noise in the background and she had a very heavy accent...This damn people are crazy and I'm hoping that people aren't falling for this scam that they got going on!! Everyone have a great day and ignore these crazy people.

These same people have called me for the last 2 weeks. First I told the person on the phone that I wasn't home, then he call back within the next 2mins not giving me time to call back. He calls back today with a name Robert Bectham and says he has a hold on my SS# and that I will be arrested as well for borrowing money from an online payday loan which I wasn't approval for. The money was never deposited into my account which he say that it was. This account has been closed for the last past 9 mths, I called the bank they have no profit where the amount has been deposited to that account. This is a SCAM and something needs to be seriously done about these people.

I have been getting these call as well and at my place of employment. They told my boss they were coming to arrest me today and that I have 3 criminal charges against my SS card. They even called my husband at his job and told him in their thick accent that something happened to me and I gave them the number to call him. He called me in a panic thinking that I was in an accident.I am filing a complaint with the FBI and Secret Service as well as the State attorney General . Huge SCAMMERS
