This number calls every day and when answered, they don't answer nor do they hang up.

Automated call saying it was research company called Optomist. They left this number 512-677-9072 as the name of the company, but caller id registered the incoming call as 440-305-6163. They were taking a poll looking for a specific individual, when I pressed no that I was not the person they were looking for, the machine hung up.  They have been dialing our number twice a day for the last week.

They call and leave no message and never get an answer. :)

Left message - said it was from Optimist or something. Called from 440 305-6163, but left call back as 512 677-9072. Maybe a political thing

I called this # back, after seeing that they tried calling our # several times during the course of the day (no messages left)... Said something about Google Voice and instructed me to leave my name, and it will try and connect me. About a 5 second pause, it then said that the Google subscriber was not available and to leave a message. Don't have the faintest idea who this could be!?

Have started receiving calls from this outfit on 09/11/2012. This was after I received a call from 718-445-9317, a Grocery Coupon scam. The scammer sounded Indian and said I had answer a survey from this outfit there fore he could call because I had prior business with them. Now I'm getting calls from both numbers, plus last night from an Indian owned pest control business in the DFW area that was a hang-up call.. I think they are all connected.

calls several times a day,. unknown who this is or why calling.

This number calls me several times a day with a recording.  I called back and left word to stop but still calling.  They should have phone privileges removed.

Calls at least once a day. Optimist is a supposed to be a research company. This is a pain.

report them to the Texas Do Not Call list if you are on the list. Just did it online in about 5 minutes. They call 3-4 times a day - with out fail. the number reverse searches to Georgetown, Texas. When answered you get some non specific "to speak to a rep" press whatever number... then you are just hanging. When I tried to do this and shut them down they started calling more. Piss me off!

These people are calling me every hour today, a Sunday......I wish there were some way I could make them go away and stop harassing me.....like everyone else, I am on the DNC list, but just yesterday, I discovered there is also a Texas DNC list....and signed up for it.   Supposedly the calls will stop within 6 months.

Got a few calls as well.  Wondering....  six months is too long to stop.... How about stopping now?

This number called me again today. How do I know, because my Call Blocker was blinking. I never heard a ring. I never got a message. I just got a blink which I immediately deleted by pressing a button. What they (or anyone on my Digitone Call Blocker gets) is one ring and then a hangup. It's delightful to know you are pissing them off instead of vice versa. This is NOT a commercial for Digitone Call Blocker. Just a sincere desire to stop these scammers. It cost me $100 which is well worth the months of not hearing their calls and knowing they have no way of reaching me after their first and only call, you see their number and block it. Or, if it's a family member and someone you want to invite to call you, you can signal that as well and their calls come right on through. Enjoy your peace and quiet.

Calls me every day about a survey, will not leave me alone!

This number is calling over and over and hanging up...I have decided to block it....

I have been getting 5 and 6 calls a day.  It is a recording, so I cannot tell them to leave me alone.

Someone stop this annoying company from calling......everyday, a couple of times a day. What happened to the list we signed up on with the Feds....? is that closed, too?

They've also been calling here 2 x a day for the past few days.

Do give up eventually if we don't answer, I hope?

Jane, the Feds haven't been enforcing Do Not Call for a lot longer than the shutdown!

I receive several times a day calls from 1-512-677-9072, as late as 10:00PM. It needs to stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
