Got a phone call from 052-540-068, didn't answer it and then I listened to the message. He said his name was Jim Brown, had a heavy accent (Indian I believe). He said this is a warning message and it is a very time sensitive subject. Then he told me or my recent attorney to call him back on 512-729-0221. Anyone know who this is?

A man with a strong accent says his name is Alex Brown and that my attoney of records or myself need to return the call.  It sounds as if her was about to say something else then he hung up.  It sound like a scam to me.

A woman named Katie Martin has been calling me for the pass 2 weeks.

FED UP   ITS A SCAM! Got a call from a lady susan watson and i called back yesterday and really let her have it! i told her we know what they are and they are not who they say they are. i told them i have reported them to the law enforcement,FTC and Homeland Security. she answered very meekly-ok. so now we will see what happens. DONT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!

I have received this same identical (voice message) call from David Walker, strong accent, maybe from India or Pakistan. He wants me or my attorney to call him back at 512-729-0221.

It is a fake debt collection agency.  They are based out of india and only can try and scare you with empty threats.  Call em back and give em [***].

Even i received the call and i was ready to resolve but after reading this my mind changed and i told them its a scam but now.. oh my god please help me..

I got a phone call from this number it showed on my caller ID 052540068 FAKE number with a guy on the other end with a heavy accent deffinetly Indian or Middle Eastern using american names News Anchor Men names like John Roberts, from CNN and Keith Russell from WPVI 6 ABC Sport News. They are deffinetly a scam, scam artists. He called me saying gor me or my retain attorney to call, first of all I don't have a retain attorney and I never took out a loan from anyone they mentioned they are deffinetly trying to scam money from us. Does anyone know where they are calling from and how did they get my information. They need to be arrested gor this crime they say they work for the United States Legal Dept. Crime Devision WTF!!. And I know they are scams because at the end of the phone call I could here one of the other guys that called before saying he is John Smith talking on the other line saying the same message and hid name now is Roby. Let me know on any other information we need to stick together and put these people to a stop and there impersonating, and threat tacticts.

With so much crap going on these days and real,honest people who have a time just making sure they can pay the bills they do have and and getting food on the table for their families the LAST thing anyone needs including myself is for some jacka** calling you demanding you have a dept needing resolved now. I'm not a confrontational person and I was in hysterics and bawling cause I had no money at the time and was told to borrow money from friends or I would go to jail, didn't pay them but the emotional damage was done. Most debt companies will at least make pay plans or send legal papers telling you if it was in fact sent to collections or court. I also noticed the heavy accent and I do believe the name was John, this last was by the name of Marvin. Someone needs to reach in the phone and beat the sh** out of them for causing so much trouble cause we don't need this. Life is hard enough. I noticed that John Smith replied to one, as if anyone cares he can't drive or sit in his precious office.

I just got the same call. Now his name is Mike Austin. Definately a scam. told me the same thing as everone else: Have my retain attorney call, etc. I could have someone call him and tell him that he is my attorney and to quit harassing me.
Just report it.

i called these jerks back and told them never to call me again. then i got a voicemail on my phone -no name,but he said he is going to make us all suffer for not paying back our payday loans! i called back and told them they better watch who they are threating and hung up. not a minute later i got a call from john brown or something like that and he started his speal and i yelled at him never to call me again. SOB! SCAMMERS! Threating me like that -well all of us that is!!

guy named Alex Brown called said he needed my attorney to call him back, said he would meet me @ courthouse of city I lived in. and if i did not call him back I would face serious consequences. Who is this joker? He knew my social sec# even tho I did not give him any info. Whats going on???????????

he is an attorney he gave me a call.i spoke to him about case and as i did not wanted to hamper my credit history so we agreed for a settlement out side the court.i am free now i got clean chit recipt from my local court house

LOL, just call them back and use their name and tell them you are from the place they are telling you they are from, they sure don't like it. LOL. Get very defensive. Use the phone number and read their speal back to them
