Left incomplete robo-call voice mail. It said - A lawsuit against you. To receive more information about this file call this number.  Received same call / message from 585 358-9695 and 717 552-3666.

I received the voice message at 3 p.m. today 9/27/16.

answered phone, it was a robo voice stating it's the IRS about to file lawsuit, and to call same number back. I called and received Verizon message that call can't be completed.

said IRS is going to sue me except they could not tell me my social security number i told them to F OFF

Received call from "IRS" saying they were "suing" me, looked up number & its bs.

It's the old "IRS is filing a lawsuit against you" scam.

Called the number back and answered Internal Revenue Service, he asked for my name DOB and last 4 of my ssn I declined, he gave me a badge number said he was an officer and needed to see if there was a lawsuit against me. I said no

I believe this to be a tax fraud. It contacted me about a lawsuit however when I asked to speak to their adviser they both had indian accents and their was a lot of street buzz in the back. I'm asian indian myself and I feel as though they were trying to get me into a fraud scam.

Got call from this number with a threat that I will be arrested in 24hrs if I did not give them my name. He told me his name was peter Carlos with the irs and his I'd number is IRM7874. So can someone with the IRS find peter Carlos I.d number IRM7874 in the investigation department and have him go public on national Television news if this is not a scam.

Wanted personal information from me but wouldn't disclose who he was. Said I might be being sued. I kept asking who he was seeing as he called me. I said I would not share any information with him and hung up. Text a message not to call this number again and got a text  message back saying it was a landline.

This is an absolute scam. They tell you they are from the IRS's "Investigative Department" and the person tells you they are Investigation Officer "XY" (first time they gave me Mark Andrews, second time Adam Milton). I am a tax lawyer so they got the wrong guy... They want you to give out personal information and get money - please do not give out any sensitive information (if you told them your name and address or DOB that is OK, they cannot really do anything with that but DO NOT share your SSN). I submitted an identity theft complaint at the IRS's actual investigative department (TIGTA).

I got a robo call from this number today - 10/3/16 @ 12:42pm saying they were IRS and were going to sue me.  Called the number back a few time and it was always engaged.  Weird way to do "business". How can we get these people to stop?

Just received this call from Austin, TX.  A robo message stated the IRS was suing me & to call back.  I had to select "prank" for this call but I would like to call it illegal spam.  Some poor soul is going to fall for this.
