Missed this call and attempted to call back a minute after...got a message stating the number is no longer in service.

Same thing just happened to me.  

I received a call from this number but missed it and the individual did not leave a message.  So, when I called it back the recording said this is not a working number and to check my directory.  I googled this number and it comes up as belonging to Time Warner.  I guess maybe one of their many call centers in Austin Texas.

That interesting, it came up on my caller id as TX Dept of Health

This number is for the Texas Department of State Health Services. It's one of the main numbers for one of their locations in Austin.

Note to everyone: the person who is assigned this number at texas department of state health services may be a false number. Because i called personally to this establishment and they could not even contact the person. Thanks

I missed a call from this number due to my app blocking it as possible spam. In looking up the number, I got results as others did that it was the Texas Department of State Health Services and in calling the number back, I received a message stating the number was no longer working. However, I knew I had placed a work-related call to them earlier and was expecting a callback from them. There was no voicemail left, but when I re-called the original number I had used to reach them (512-834-6648) and asked for the contact I had been referred to earlier, it was verified that she had called me. I guess I would disregard this number unless you have any reason to be in contact with Health Services.
