This means your number has been incorrectly entered as a primary or secondary contact number for a City of Austin emergency management team member.  The call could be anything from calling in staff for a water main break to bringing in on-call personnel for handling a 24-hour staffing team shortage.

Please call the non-emergency help line at 3-1-1 and tell them your phone number is being incorrectly contacted by the CTECC automated attendant.   They will need your name, phone number and the time/date of the call to find which team member the system was intending to call.

I got the same call.  If you own, manage, or are a contact person for a business who is required to file an emergency action plan with the city of Austin, your name was most likely submitted as the contact person for that plan.  That happened with me, but I was no longer the contact person.

You can call to have your name removed from their records as the contact person, but it will most likely result in that business needing to submit a revised plan with the correct contact information.

I got a call from this number, but it was after I dialed 911 and got disconnected due to a "Server error"

Fraud telemarketers ... do NOT take a call from them.
They do Not believe in the Government, do NOT call list.
They think it is a joke.

I was taking Doep class at 6633 e hwy 290 suite 103 ruby Cortez I could not entered class so I called 911 told operator and she didn't know intersection but told me wait in car gave her licenses pkate and my cell she said cops would call me when they got there. I see call from ‭512 9740999 then 2 cops went inside building and didn't bother looking for me. It was supposed to be a serious call but I guess it's getting redirected and then called 911 the other day and this same number calls me back it's like APD isn't there to serve and protect because it's always 2 male officers out to arrest me

This number is used by the City of Austin, Texas police department.
