Received a phone call from this number but nobody was there when I picked up.

Called me today, but I don't answer numbers I don't know.

I didn't answer because ID was "Ohio" and they didn't leave a message.

Got a call from this number.   I don't answer any unknown numbers.   Looked it up and it comes from Rossmoyne, OH.

Got 2 calls from this number within 48 hours. Listed as Mason, OH. I don't typically answer numbers I don't recognize and they didn't leave a message.

I got 4 calls from this number since yesterday. No message. Says Mason, OH

Received call from this number on January 5, 2013 at 4:02PM (Eastern) from this number.  The caller id display showed "OHIO" and we don't know anyone from Ohio that would be calling us, so I didn't answer.  No message was left.  Reverse phone search listed the following:  Landline - Mason, OH, and Power Net Global is the service provider.  We are on the "Do Not Call" registry so legitimate businesses should not be calling us.  Most of the calls we have been getting have been reported as scams on this site, "Who Calls Me".

Yeah, I continue to receive calls from "Ohio" as well...not sure what their angle may be??  If not leaving a message, certainly not up to anything good.

Although I am on the "Do Not Call " list, I received a call from this number tonight, (2/6/13) from Mason, OH.  I did not answer, and, of course, they did not leave a message.  Almost immediately afterwards, I received one from Oklahoma, # 405-283-8847--exact same procedure.  This simply is not a joke to an elderly, easily upset person.  What on earth can be done about it?

OHIO landline called, would not leave message. Probably some type of scammer or telemarketer. If they will not leave a message... It's no one I want to talk to!

Since I have a child that lives in Ohio I picked up this call thinking it could be and emergency and got no recorded message, or person or anything  and it hung up within seconds of me saying hello.  No big deal and I just won't answer next time but I cannot figure out why this happens?  Not a sales call, no attempt to get credit card of banking info, not even a request for a donation.

What is the caller hoping do accomplish if they don't respond when they finally have a person on the line and just hang up?

Same as everyone here...I don't pick up numbers I don't recognize, and I have no friends or family in Ohio. I also don't have any outstanding debts so I won't be answering this call if I ever see it again.

Picked up, and got someone calling for Jay Sukelow, who is with the ACLJ.  We have had communication with them, so such a call isn't unexpected.  Would bet that other such calls were for some fundraising, or political issue.  If you don't want them, just call the ACLJ and ask to be removed from their call list.  They tend to not leave a message if no one answers.

I blocked my caller ID and called this number back twice. It was busy both times. It's probably a robo-caller that identifies "real" numbers when someone answers the phone call. My guess is that your number is then put on a "live" list and sold to other telemarketer/spammers. UGH. WHO buys from these people that it's still worth their while to harrass the 99% that don't???

just recieved call from this number and I am on NO CALL LIST. Irritating!

513-229-9279 called me today and 985-635-4267 called me yesterday. First call from Boston Nothing said . same with the 513 number. My Phone carrier will block these numbers for you, Call yours and ask them if you haven't already. Good luck.
