It's Hoxworth Blood Center

Called and said nothing July 7-2008 about 1:PM.  If that is Hoxworth Blood Center I do not think it is funny.

They called me today too and said nothing.  7-9-08

They want you to donate blood.  I only donated once over a year ago and they still call me all the time.

They keep calling me looking for a "Megan".  I'm getting really annoyed.  I called the number back the other day and they wouldn't identify themselves until I told them my name and birth date.  I was really annoyed.  I told them I would appreciate if they'd take my number out of their system.  But they called me again TODAY looking for "Megan" again!  You'd think they were bill collectors with how persistant and rude they are.

I got a call from this number today and they said nothing also. I could hear talking in the background. After 2 minutes they hung up.

Hoxworth Blood Center has an automatic dialer and if you donated blood just once. They are going to call you every 2 weeks 2x a week for the next ten years. I used to work there and it's insane how much they harass people. Idiots work there and manually set call backs for people for later in the week. you must ask to be taken off the call list and not just say no because 2 weeks later your getting another call. It was the worst job every

If you ask a company to stop calling you, they have 31 days to comply.  If after 31 days they continue to call you, you can report them to FCC.  Check out the National Do Not Call government site for more information

I didn't hear anyone say anything, but when I found out it was Hoxworth, I remembered it was time for me to donate again, so I called back and made my appt.
There's probably a delay after you answer before they can hear you, so next time I'll wait on the line longer after I answer. They're good people and you never know when you or someone you love will need them!

Thank you for giving Hoxworth some props- for the sake of maintaining the supply of blood that local hospitals need, I'm happy to be bugged with a phone call every so often.

it's Hoxworth Blood center calling to see if i could donate blood as they have the need for my blood type.

I have lived outside of Cincinnati for more than a decade. I haven't answered calls from them in more than a decade. I still get calls from them several times a month. It's awful. I keep thinking it'll stop, but it hasn't. IN OVER A DECADE.
