This number appeared on my caller ID with the name only as "Ohio". Since I don't know anyone in Ohio and didn't recognize the number I didn't answer. The person who called (Mary) said she was from some college or university but even after listening to the message a couple of times I didn't catch which school it was. She left a message for someone with our last name but the first name of Tiffany. No such person here. She said she had good news about a Federal Student Aid award. At first I thought this was terrible for Tiffany since this message was left at the wrong number and she wouldn't hear about her aid award. I was going to call back to the number Mary left (877-712-4294) to let them know they had made a mistake but then it occurred to me that the fact that this woman used our last name that this was likely a phishing call. I looked up both the number on the caller ID and the number she gave as a call back and neither came back as a college, financial aid organization or lending company.

Constant calls from this number asking for someone with my last name but a different first name (Bjorn).  Repeatedly told them to stop calling and they said they would take my name off the list.  This last time I simply yelled at the dude and called him a liar (even before he had a chance to say he would take me off the list).  Isn't there something that can actually be done?

513/469-5268 is collection agency for an automotive tech school.  Looking for a relative of mine who does not owe Wyotech Trade School anything.  They have the wrong person and are very obnoxious

A waste of time answering the calls from this phoney "agency"; especially when the jerks do not leave a voice message.

No message I called the phone number a woman answered said she was from a school collecting money from a student.  I told her that I had looked the number up online and told her that she was on the black list on the internet she replied that her school was an accredition school..

i have received the same sort of calls from said number (513-469-5268). I called (877-712-4294) after reading the above posts. Would you believe it I also spoke to Mary.
Mary told me she was calling on behalf of Everest College and the call was being recorded.
I told Mary that I too was recording the call (this was true) i told the mythical Mary that I did not any information about Everest university or any other future offers or promotions. Mary then told me she was looking for a Sarah Romeo. I told that person has nothing to do with me telling you, on behalf of your company to never call my home again. I reminded Mary that I too was recording the call. Mary then barfed out my number and I could her typing away on a KB and she said I would never receive another call. Well we'll see.

Phone recording devices are inexpensive devices or apps, a good ace to have to keep people like Mary away.

No message . Why call and not leave a message ? Because thats why they call it Harrassment !
