Someone from this phone number called a BUSINESS ASSOCIATE of mine!!!  Who is calling from this number?  This has to be illegal.

Debt collector General Revenue Service has been calling regularly for months. I do not have any debts. Continual interruption by these calls is harrassment.

Called February 20, 2011 about 5:15 CST.  Asked for a Thomas Murray - never heard of him.

I had a missed call from this number, I called back and had a hard time understanding who they are. they kept saying "General Revenue Service" and I kept thinking they are Gov Related ( i.e. IRS)

I asked them why they called me and they said someone has put my number as a reference. I asked reference to what and whom and they needed my first name and last name.

It was a bit fishy so I decided to look up the number online and here I am.

I don't own anything to anybody and I will add their number to my block list if they keep calling.

Today was the first call. 05/09/11 9:30AM PST

called asking for a natalie first time then a margret they just keep calling with names i have never heard about.  you would think more of the grs if thats whom they really are.

They called on our business line, and were transferred to me (asked for my exceuctive boss) per protocol.  They left a message and when called them back they asked to verify birthday & last 4 of social security# of my boss, I told him no.  He said can you confirm your birthday of 4/?/6? (I can't remember the exact dates),I told him no.  Asked who he is, he is from General Revenue Corporation - and were calling regarding personal business.  Per Google they are a "Debt Management Corporation" who provides premier collection services for the education, government, utility, automotive, telecommunication, retail and shipping industries......

Sketchwads who ask for way too much personal info

A collection agency and I was told that they call everybody with the same last name as the person they are trying to find.  They have been calling for at least a year and a half.

I am  CEO of a company and I can assure you that this number is a fraud and was reported to the FBI this evening for federal investigation. I provided them the trace that was set up and location of these individuals they are fishing for information so do not provide them a dime of your personal or private information they should already know that and be telling you it and confirming the process.

They are targeting business and Students so please be careful and remember if its really important then they will contact you by mail and phone.  

I got three calls in a row from this number asking for three different people. They say press 1 for this person , but no other choices. There has been an increase of unwanted calls for the past few months. There should be a law in place, that makes them stop without the consumer having to put out money, to install call blockers, for peace and quiet

Keep leaving messages about a friend of mine needing a reference. She has a unique name so I thought about it for a moment. When they gave me an 800 number to return the call I knew it wasn't legitimate.
