Keep getting calls from OHIO.   The number is 513-754-9852.  Never leave a message and hang up when I pick up.  Any ideas who this is?

Me too.  They have called my cell 4 times today and hang up when I answer.

i called back and the guy said "i can see you have a macy's account" and he asked for my SS# and I hung up.

I'm getting those calls all week.  I won't answer since I don't know anyone in OH.

They started calling me from a 727 number yesterday and today they called from 513...they ask if you have a Macys account- they are trying to get a payment from me but I'VE ALREADY PAID my bill! I just told them to stop calling cuz this is my cell phone and they are wasting my time for something I shouldn't have to deal with! And foreigners that you can't even understand that are the ones calling! Give me an American or don't call!

Who are these people, they call at all hours and never leave messages, I am on the do not call list, so am trying to figure out what charity or bank or politician is bugging me

Same here...first time I picked up and asked me if I had a macys account and I said yes...then they said that I needed to make a payment because I am lat and they started asking me for my personal info...I was like whatever cuz I already paid my bill so I just hung up...but they keep calling my house and its so annoying...who are these people?!?!?

Same here. Call Call Call and no message no one there.  Don't owe Macy's.  So I will call tomorrow and see.

I've been getting the same calls. I called Macy's Credit Services number from Macy's website (877-493-9207) to ask them about the calls. She verified the number and said that the number is in fact their collection agency in OH that starts calling if your Macy's account is a day late or more. She could not explain why they hang up when you answer and apologized. I'm still pissed off that they start calling a day after your bill is due and it's not just one call, it's 4 or 5 in one day. I'm also still uncomfortable giving my SS number over the phone to a third party like that. As far as I'm concerned, I will NOT talk to that collection agency and will continue to tell them to stop harassing me.

DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!  This is the 3rd or 4th number that has called me that is a scam.  They want your money people and they want you to call them back.  Even if you are registered on the Do Not Call List, unless you have been on that list for 30 days, they can call you.  After 30 days you can make a "complaint."  Also, if you dealt with a company...say you buy something online or over the phone or even at the store, those people can contact you even if you are on the Do Not Call List, AND they can out-skirt any of your information to people they deal with and those people can call you.  These numbers that have been calling people might be that or a scam, either way, they are probably going to keep calling you, so DO NOT ANSWER.  They usually switch numbers as well.  They are currently only calling me on 2 out of the 4 numbers they use because I haven't answered those others in months.  Their annoying calling also usually only lasts a month.  Don't Answer your phone to a number that you do not know.  Have your phone come up saying do not answer or something.  That is what mine does.
