I started getting calls on my cell phone from this number everyday. It used to come up as unavailable, but the phone number showed up this afternoon. A recorded message was left, but it is automated, so my voicemail only catches half of it. I called the number on the caller ID back and music plays and then it hangs up.

I got a call at 8:40 am and no message was left. I called it back and got a quick play of music then it hung up. Came up Unavailable for me as well.

this number just called my phone and left a message. It is GMAC.

This is GMAC Auto loan division. The number is from the U.S. but the callers are all located in India and They do not leave messages or even speak when you pick up.

Thought they had gone bust??

This is GMAC, I think if enough people file a complaint with the Bureau of Consumer Protection this will stop them in their tracks. I don't even have an account with them, my daughter does. She has her own phone, but the continue to call us. Even when I give them her number, and tell them not to call at my number anymore. They are rediculess. They just don't stop. They are like the eveready battery........calling..........calling............calling

Call no message hang up when I answer

Yep, I just got 3 calls today from this number on my CELL PHONE. I use it for work and wasn't able to pick up when they called. I tried to call the number back because they left no messages and I thought it might have been work related. All I got was silence and then I was disconnected. So stupid.

everyday this number calls at 9am, 2:30pm and sometime around 7 or 8:30. whenever i pick up knowone answer! this really need to stop!!!!!!!!!!!

GMAC- Called on Memorial day (after I made my payment) at 6 in the morning and this morning, I owe 13 dollars.

Yes. I do have an account with GMAC but this is crazy! I keep getting calls from this number. I have answered and they say nothing and hang up. I have tried to call them back and I get a few seconds of music and then a disconnection. I do business with GMAC and don't mind if they call me to deal with an issue. I apprecitate when the business I deal with call me when there is something to tell me. I however have now decided not to answer any calls from anyone that says, "resticted","unavailable" or"unknown". Ifanyone expects me to say hello and identify myself with my phone number I expect the same respect BEFORE I will answer. ( I put the GMAC number on silent ring tone- as they were calling my cell phone.)

this is a GMAC telephone no. however, GMAC outsources their call center work. The actual number is 866-207-6780. The other number is outgoing only. They are not required to p/u. You only receive the calls if you are behind in payments...which I unfortunately am. I did request that they stop calling me so much...we shall see if that works....

This number shows up as unavailable on my caller id.  It calls
my house every hour.  This is quite annoying and my children are
getting spooked!

I keep getting calls from these idiot but they just hang up when I answer.

i've found out this is gmac, which i dont even own a general motors car
they've started calling this week, 2 or 3 times a day, and its the same as everyone else reports- no message left and if you call back you get music and then silence

This is not GMAC or Xerox these calls are fraudulent trying to get information out of you.

Received two calls from this number within a 10 minute period Saturday morning. Doubt that this is GMAC making calls for missed payments. My car was paid off 4 months ago and I have the title. Probably a scam trying to steal information.

These people charged a credit card of mine for $600

We have NO Idea who they are or why they charged our card.

received a phone call from this number on my cell phone - they wanted my name, birthday and address - i said no.  they said that she couldnt give out any information until i gave her the info she wanted - i said no.  she said it's health related.  i said no.  then hung up.
