514-447-8035

This criminal scam has been circulating in the US in the past few weeks (with some overflow to Canadians). I think this is a new one to Canada. The number is likely spoofed and the scam will  spread (meaning that they will use different spoofed numbers and you will get multiple calls). Most of my calls have come from Washington state so far.

These criminals are like a highly virulent contagion (of the worst kind).

"Please take our survey about very important issues and at the end of the survey you will receive a free cruise" (yeah, right and I was born yesterday....and please, I'd like some of that Florida swamp land too).

To get your "free" prize for participating, you will just have to give them your credit card number. And they will then turn around and take you for whatever they can (so criminals and not terribly bright ones either - lazy boogers who won't get real jobs).

A reçu un appel téléphonique de 514-447-8035 un message enregistré en anglais, personne a un accent américain.

J'ai raccroché après ils ont offert une croisière pour répondre à un sondage politique.

Received a telephone call from: 514-447-8035 a recorded message in english, person had an american accent.

Hung up after they offered a cruise for responding to a political poll.

Laval (Québec) Canada - Appel reçu à 22h15; je n'ai pas répondu, ne connaissant pas ce numéro affiché. Aucun message n'a été laissé sur mon répondeur. C'est inhabituel de recevoir des appels du genre si tard.

These people call daily, robot call wanting you to take a short survey, with a gift if you do. Complete scam to get around the do not call criteria, by hiding under a survey pretense.

Même chose ici.  Message automatisé en anglais me demandant de répondre à un sondage de 30sec.  J'ai raccroché dès que j'ai entendu ça et j'ai bloqué le numéro sur mon téléphone domestique.
Same here.  Automated message in English asking me to answer a 30sec poll.  I hung up once I heard that and I blocked the number on my home phone.

Nous avons reçu cet appel message enregistré  quelques fois  2 ou 3 fois en anglais seulement nous demandant des informations sur notre carte de crédit. On n'a pas répondu aux exigences du message enregistré.

they keep calling all the time I hang up, but everyday I get about 3 of them

Got this telephone number on my telephone registration but as you reported this may be another scam up here in Quebec City

Personally, I intend to either phone or email every time I get one of these scamnmers
calls.  That is the only way these telephone resellers are going to deal with the
problem.  Everyone posting here - the scammers aren't interested in your comments - they
don't care.  Make the owners of the exchange care, contact them for EVERY BS call you
get, and complain.  Iam also complaining about the extra costs on my phone bill for call
blocking - because of fibernetics' clients BS calls, and asking for their billing
department so I can submit a bill.

Je viens de recevoir un appel de ce numéro. Une femme parlait en anglais. Ça semblait être un enregistrement. Je n'ai rien compris. J'ai raccroché. Je reçois de tels appels d'un autre numéro. Un véritable fléau ces appels.

ca fait une douzaine d appels que je recois depuis quelques jours , je suis écoeurée je ne sais pas comment faire , c est un enregistrement mais ce n est pas toujours le meme no. mais le meme message . j espere que ca va arreter , c est pas reposant ca ,

this number calls me every single day. EVERY SINGLE DAY. It's an automatic message, saying that the caller is Anne, and that the survey is from the government, etc. It's getting really annoying. Can you report this number to the police or something? It probably can't be tracked though...

Also, I'm in Canada, and I've been receiving this every day.
