This lady called for my mom, when I said she wasn't there can I take a message, she goes no thanks, and hangs up immediately.

Received a call from this number, during supper, of course. Female caller asked for me by name, but it was very difficult to understand her due to the loud background noise at her end. Sounded as if  a very loud tv was being played in the background, or there were other people in a large open area making  "cold calls".  Also, the caller spoke English with a very thick Haitian accent.  She ended the call when
I asked for the company licensing number.


The "company" Avantage Pro Po, when goggled does not appear to exsist. Be careful.

My mom got a similar call but from 514-737-1998 asking if she was interested in having her windows looked at.  When she said no, the person on the other line told her to f**k off...

I had a cal from them too. They asked for me by the incorrect name that Bell Canada had me registered ....so I know who has sold my contact info. As soon as I said "she is not here, can I take a message?" (yes this is how i screen I pretend I am not me and take a message ) the person hung up.
I must say the number was different than the one listed above, this call was from 514-737-3088.

The call I got twice today within 45 minutes of each other was from 737-1998, Avantage pro po - - there's a company called Avantage pro portes et fenetres (aluminum doors and windows) in Montreal. The entire name may not show on the Caller id screen - lack of character space. Since I recently got an aluminum window fixed at another company, it's possible there's some sharing of client data between similar manufacturers ???

Je reçois plusieurs appels provenant de ce # et aussi t^t que je décroche il ou elle raccroche. C’est désagréable et malheureusement je ne sais pas qui est deriere ces appels.

La même chose pour moi.  J'ai décroché sans regarder l'écran de téléphone:)  personne en ligne.  J,ai essayé de rappeler, et cela est occupé.  Je n'aime pas du tout ces appels-là.

I received a call from Advantage Pro and I let my message pick up but no one answers. I called them back, no one answers. Is it a scam?

these people are calling and hanging up, then calling back 5 minutes later.  a real pain in the backside.
