Got a call from this number: the woman knew a residents name and claimed to be collecting for a past-due "Reader's Digest" bill. Tried to demand banking and cheque information... possible scam?

very odd, said they were connecting me, and I saw the name Rami El-Asmar. Didn't wait around to see who it was

i got the same call, they just left a message and  a 1866 number for me to call and an reference id number...weird

I got called and it said that it will transfer me to an attendant - no such transfer took place (I waited 20 seconds) and i hang up.

Same ting here, Rami El-Asmar. A pre-recorded voice ask me to call back, it's supposed to be  concerning "personal information". It call me about every two days. Make me loose minutes and patience.

received call today April 23, 2010 at 08:32 in the morning.
I picked up and there was no one on the line.
I called again and the response was that the person I am trying to contact is unavailable at the moment!

Got a call and it said that they were going to put me through to someone... Then it said that there were no available operators at the moment and it hung up... Weird... definite possibility of a scam.

I got a call from this phone number too, showing Rami Al-something and I didn't answer it. I don't answer unknown ppl or blocked calls anyways. They left no msg.

I´m receiving calls from this number for 15 days already, all the time they left voice msgs to call a 1866 .... number, I tryed the first time to call back to see who was calling me; but the number it´s a fax ........

It's a number that is linked to some company trying to collect unpaid bills for various companies.  Don't even bother.  That 866 number is for one of those collection agencies.

They called so many times and it's really annoying...asked them to take my number out and they won't do it..is there any way that we can sue them?

every morning i got this unknown name ,I don't answer  this type of call.

i got a call from  that  number  and  when i pick  no one  answere me and then  i heard  a click  they  disconnected .......and I called back  on that number and it state the caller you  trying to contact is unavailable at the moment

They have called me like four times today with caller id showing Rami-El ASMAR when i answer there is a voice mail in french and giving me a ref #. Is there a way to like report this to the authorities cos its really annoying especially when am at work.

this number keep calling my number and i keep telling them who are you and why are you keep calling here, they are asking for a person name who do not even leave in the house ,, it is always saying,, moment please we will connect you, then aperson come on,,,, or u wait on lthe line and never get connected

I keep getting this same call every couple of days too, it is the same as everyone else it says to call back a number and the call display says RAMI EL-ASMAR

This is so annoying!! I wish they would stop
