This was a robocall leaving a message about speaking to someone in their legal department before charges are filed; they left no name for the company, just a "case number" and the phone number to call back. I think it was a scam!

I receved the same thing. no name just geve me your case number

It is a scam- report them -
they buy old debt and threatened people
tell them you are reporting them to the state attorney general

Left message for me to call if I do not want  to be served a home or work. I don't know what company this is they did not say, they have been calling for two months.

This call sounds very authentic and scared me to death.  They say the user's mailbox can't accept anymore messages.  They say my social security number has been linked to some kind of fraud.  They gave me a case number.  They said if I didn't call them and take care of this matter I would be charged at my place of employment or home.  They need to be fined for this kind of message.

They called saying My name and S.S.# is liked to fraudulent  activities I have to call back before 2 charges are placed against me at my place or work or home. Mailbox is full and cant leave any messages. It also says to type in your case# but you cant. my case # started with MXD220--- I guessing it's fraud.

Yep exactly the same thing happen to me!!! Wow that very saddd to do things like that!!!!

Got a phone call on our fax line from this number.  You know they are idiots when they are calling a business fax line.  I had to look up the number, because it seems these calls come around lunchtime.  DON'T BUY INTO THEM!!

received a voice mail stating my ss num is linked to fraud charges and will be served ??????????????? sounds like a trick to call a debt collector to me !

This number has been calling me for years. There is another number you have to call. Then you find out the Rep is in Texas. She will take your info and re-file the debt after so long, threaten to come to your job and if you call her back say you are filing bankruptcy or you are getting a lawyer she will not accept your calls or hang up on you. When you ask to see any documentation of the bill she advises under government regulations she is not allowed to show you any info.  When you ask who the company is filing the debt against you the Rep advises that they were bought out by another company and she has no knowledge of the prior company.

I just got a call from this number on my job.  The recording gave a case number and that's all.  Do you report them and if so, do you mind telling me what was the result of it?

Left a voicemail. They said the name Elizabeth Smith twice. Said they were a processing/summonsing company. Said I had 2 warrants in my county associated with my SS# and if I didn't call them back, I would receive summons at my work or home. Left a case number. I tried to call back to no avail.

I got the same message today 2/18/15 I heard about the scam on the News earlier inl the week so I tried calling there office and messages are full .

do not make the mistake of giving these people any money. I paid then once because that's we're scary and I didn't want then coming to my job..and they still conTinue to call. Now I Ask them for information to give to my attorney and twice they've hung up on me.

Received numerous calls at my work # & cell #;  They refuse to state who they are; stated about to be served papers regarding fraud.

Scammers. Trying to scare you into giving them a credit card number or be served.
Great idea about getting info from them for your attorney. I was thinking of making a loud noise in the phone.

It's a scam. They threaten you but will not produce any documentation. Do not give them any info.
