Person from number calls several times per day. I never answer. They never leave a message. I've heard its Mediacom.

I've been receiving calls from them lately.  I just signed up with Mediacom too.  My guess it's them.

This number that calls 3-5 times a day, if u answer, nobody is there.  just annoying.

It is Mediacom. I didn't answer but I called the number back and got a recording. It said that it was a call about a promotion and "Sorry we missed you, we'll try again later" It did eventually get to a live person. I requested to be removed from the call list and "Jennifer" said she would remove me.....we'll see what happens.

Not sure how it is but want it to stop they call several times a day and night, leave no message and when I answer no one is there.

I want to know who calls me from this number.

The only way to stop telemarketing calls is to list your number with the national do not call registry.  Then, every time a telemarketer calls you, go to the website and file a complaint.  Also keep a written log of who/when/number, etc, or you can keep a log of the calls by locking them if they are incoming on your cell phone.

After that, you must contact the attorney general's office with your evidence.  The only reason the Do Not Call registry exists is to keep the complaint records on file to be used when you bring legal action against the telemarketer.  Just having your number listed on the registry does nothing to stop the unwanted calls.

Getting tired of these calls.  Been getting more since I added my number to the don't call list.  If they can't leave a message then they shouldn't be calling. And if they leave a message and you have no business with them then they shouldn't be calling!!!!!!!

The calls are from Mediacom of which I am a customer. They refused to add me to the "Do Not Call List" unless I gave them the last four digits of my Social Security #.

I get a call twice daily since I signed up to media com cable.   The let it ring until they get voicemail then hangup, so it appears I have a voicemail when in fact they leave nothing.

Yes, we are in the National Do Not Call list. No, it does not seem to help. Sigh
