- SunRover replies to Carolyn| 4 repliesDo what I do.. Whenever I get one of these calls, I add the number as a contact on my cell phone. I use the letter Z1, Z2,...etc. for the name so it falls at the bottom of my contacts list and then I set the Ringtone to No Ring.. Problem solved...

Very frustrated with these people. They made a mistake on my loan payment amount, and expect me to make double payments each month. WTF? They refuse to fix it, and continue to call nonstop. I will NEVER use them again...or Bank of America!- Caller: Wells Fargo

- ArchieWe have been getting calls from this number for over a month. Several times a day and they are all hang up calls. We do not have Wells Fargo in the city where I live and I have never had anything to do with them so don't know why they are calling me. I notice the Federal Do Not Call list that I am on doesn't stop these idiots.
- MarieOn the caller ID it states Wells Fargo Bank, a recording then speaks to you asking you for a specific person and you must press 1 or 9 if you are or are not that person. Screw it I pressed 1 because it was my housemate they wanted and if someone was illegally using his credit card then he should be alerted. I told the man he needs to contact my housemate on the cell phone and if they are legit they would have the number.
He hung up on me.
30 minutes later the dufus calls back.
Also please do not bank with Wells Fargo. they are in part the reason why the economy is in such a state.
I was listening to NPR some months back about a poor man who brought his family over here from Africa, escaping certain death. His family starts over and he is finally getting himself finacially stable for the first time. All his bills have been paid for. Though his hard work, paying bills on time and all didn't leave him with anything to give his family a Christmas, even though they have been in America for some years, he wanted to give his family an American Christmas complete with a tree, presents and a feast to celebrate. He used one of those loan places that Montel Williams endorses on TV. He took the loan out for only $500.00. He agreed to make the payments on the first of each month and his credit reflected he was never late with a payment. Unfortunately, within the many lines of fine print and all the legal jargon that takes a law professor to understand or lawyer, there was an application fee due the day before the first payment. It was a hefty one too, like $200.00. When the payment was not made by the specific date, it helped itself to this man's bank account. The $200.00 was not there because the man's direct deposit was not scheduled until the day after. Of course there were over drafts that had been created, then when the $200.00 application fee was not satisfied, it went to collections with an interest rate of 800%. Then when the first payment was due, the man's account had been diminished by this loan company automated services and the entire loan went automatically into default and that was another 800% in interest along with penalties that also come with interest. Within 6 months this man owed close to $20,000.00 for a $500.00 loan with this loan company Montel Williams endorses. This man went to his boss for fear he would be arrested. His boss paid off this acceptable loan shark and discovered the parent company is Wells Fargo. And Wells Fargo has several "Get out of Debt" loan companies designed to extort money from your bank account. Wells Fargo is a parent company to those "Get cash for your car today and still keep your car" Auto-repossession is on the rise and they have game shows about it too. How disgusting! And yet, Wells Fargo has their finger in the game shows too! And if that doesn't just frost you, Wells Fargo is a parent company to those "Reverse Mortgage" so you can live high off the hog and when you die, the bank gets your house, your car, those paintings, your jewelry, the furniture and if your underwear fetches a price, they'll sell those too. Whoever is in the will gets nothing and may even get stuck with the bills and fees attached to the reverse mortgage.
Wells Fargo needs to be exposed for what they truly are. Un-American. - SamI haven't had Wells Fargo in over 4 years and we only used them for a checking/savings account that we closed. I since have changed phone numbers and gotten married. If it was really an 'urgent matter' as the automated message says, you would think they would have contacted me sometime in the past 4 years. I call BS.

- ABWells Fargo is hounding me for a loan that is not even due for another 2 weeks. They call from 8 am till almost 10 pm 9 times a day, seven days a week. This is just ridiculous !!!!
And oh by the way, they CLOSED my account without notifying me because I was 2 days late on a payment. I still have to pay the loan off, but I never even asked for them to be the loan agency. It came via Bath Fitter...another whole story there.- Caller: Wells Fargo Home Projects
