Do not want any magazines or any other bothers

i just got my number and i am allready geting calls from telemarketers. i have only given my number to only family how did these people get it.

i am on do not call list, alot of good that does!!and they still call how do i stop them?? i answered the call and they hung up!

I want this absolute nonsense to stop. Don't these idiots realize that I pay for every single one of the calls they make to me? I would really like to find someone in charge of the place, and explain the concept of harrassment in simple language.

This month I just go my new number with t-mobile on the 1st a couple days after that i started receiving call from this stupid number.  These jerks call me daily so I decided to go through the procedure with them and they were selling magazines(not interested).  I pretended to be interested this lady talked about my interests while waiting for her manager and these people are of false advertisement and full of s**t because they told me that the magazines where a free subscription and I would receive all these incentives but the sup wanted me to pay a monthly fee and she asked me for my credit card information.  These people are scams they are harrasers and something needs to be done about this.  Because even after telling the b***h i dont want the s**t these mother f***ers still call me.

2 CALLS FROM THIS COMPANY WITHIN MINUTES JUST HUNG UP ON EACH CALL

It seems like maybe this has to do with people who get new phone numbers?  Someone else said they just got a new number the other day and then received the call.  I just got my new number about 2 weeks ago, and received a call from this number last night....

I got this number on my cell phone show up today too I wanted to do a search for it and I'm glad I came across this website, I don't know how they would've gotten my cell phone number since it's private, there's a lot of scams going around so just becareful!!

they everyday i didnt order no magzine from nobody then they try to speak fast please help me to make the phone calls  stop cause if they send me any magzines im sending them back

I got a call from an 877 # first then this a few mins. later.  I answered this one and they hung up, so I called back. It was a magazine service.  They had my name, my husband's name, my address and phone #.  I told them that if they called back that I would file charges for harrassment against them.  I am on the do not call list, and have only had my # for 4 days!!!!

keeps calling, rings once, then hangs up. this is all day long!!!

Perhaps this information can help some of the people who find this board. If you do not wish to receive calls from telemarketers, make sure you get your number on the national do not call registry (donotcall.gov). The site says that your number will appear on the registry the next day, but telemarketers have 31 days to stop calling your number. This is because they may have got your number before it showed up in the do not call registry, but they are required to check it again in a month. In the mean time, if the calls are persistent and you really want them to stop, call the company directly and ask to be placed on their own do not call list. I believe telemarketers are required maintain a list and get you on it within a few business days if you ask. If you still get calls after all that, you should report them and they will probably be at least fined, perhaps more if the complaints are numerous.

I have started recieving calls from these people (as well as others) 3 days after getting phone service activated from Comcast. I haven't given my number to ANYONE. It seems that has been the case with others as well. We should not be mad at the telemarketers. We need to focus on who gave them our numbers..........our beloved phone companies.

I'm fairly certain that AT&T is giving these bastards (Viking Magazine Publishing) our numbers. I had an AT&T cell phone and I recently linked it up with my new AT&T home phone number and they immediately started calling. The only people who had any clue who I had a home phone number was AT&T.

I receive calls from places like this all the time. Generally, I have the common sense to realize that the person that's calling is just an employee trying to do a job and support their families. Much better than living on public assistance and laying around on their a**es! I just politely tell them no thank you and go on with my day. If the companies you're doing business with didn't sell your personal info to them, you wouldn't be getting the calls. Maybe you should call them and take your anger out on the right people. Hopefully you'll never find yourself in a position to have to take a job like that and have to listen to all the people yelling and cussing at you like it's your fault. Use your common sense and give them a break.

They had called once and we werent home. Then they called again and my boyfriend answered the phone. They asked for me by name. On my caller ID it comes accross as Viking Magazine. This is new number and I havent had a land line number in over 3 yrs.

This number calls my phone every day and there is a recording when I answer.  I am tired of this number calling my phone.  I have tried to call and tell a real person that but that is just a waste of time too.  How do I make them stop?!!!
