Calling all the time @ all hours!!!...I want it to stop!!!

I jumped online to search viking magazine and found a number of different sites like this one, with people trying to figure out the same thing.  I was automatically hung up on, which made me think of a few other calls in the last week that I was hung up on.  I too, like a couple other comments I read, just got a new home phone line...it's kind of creepy.  Are we getting scammed somehow?  I received an email today about phone scams that someone will call saying they're from the phone company/time warner/telus/at&t cunducting a test, and customer needs to dial 90# and hang up.  Upon contacting the telephone company, I was informed that by pushing 90#, you give the
requesting individual full access to your telephone line, which enables them to place long distance
calls billed to your home phone number.  SO, back to VIKING MAGAZINE...I can't help but wonder if somehow they're trying to mess with my line. Hmmmmmmmmmm?

what really sucks is when people get this call and immediately call back using their phone's automatic callback... But a lot of phones forget to put the 1 in front of the area code and call my number since my number is the first 7 digits of viking mag. number including the area code... So if you get called, please make sure you are dialing back the correct number before threatening the person on the phone.

Luckily I am moving soon so my number will change... haha probably get spammed by tviking mag, ;P

I too was callled by this number, (new LAN line) all you have to do is register you home or cell phone number with the "Do Not Call" Registry, and the pretty much hang up on you before you can finish your statement.  Call 888-382-1222.

Ok here is the weird thing, I just got my first land line in my life, nobody knows it, I don't even know it, only reason I got it was a bundled discount package from TIME WARNER, just like the person above mentioned, this must be associated with time warner or their associates. Nobody but them knew my number, and the second they after its hooked up they started calling. nobody speaks, and according to the internet posts this is going on for a while.WHY SOMEBODY CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT? Maybe we should call cops in IOWA. he must be a some kind of freak that gets pleasure doing this.HEEEEEELPPPP!!!

Just received a call from the number 1 515 369 5701. I didn't answer because i was unaware of the number. They called my cell phone which i found unusual because i normally give out my house number. I figure if it was important they would leave a message but they never did. I've received two calls from them.
